Duas and adhkar in prayer
What to say when bowing, in prostration, sitting, and before the final salam.
In prayer, each position has its words: glorifying Allah when bowing and in prostration, praising Him when rising, asking forgiveness between the two prostrations, then the tashahhud and the prayer upon the Prophet ﷺ. This page gives these texts with their source, and the refuge sought just before the final salam.
The duas

After the opening takbir, before reciting Al-Fatihah
O Allah, distance me from my sins as You have distanced the East from the West. O Allah, cleanse me of my sins as a white garment is cleansed of dirt. O Allah, wash me of my sins with snow, water and hail.

In the qunut of the Witr prayer

O Allah, guide me among those You have guided, grant me well-being among those You have granted well-being, take me into Your care among those You have taken into Your care, bless me in what You have given me, and protect me from the evil of what You have decreed. For You decree and none decrees against You. And the one You take as an ally is never humiliated. Blessed are You, our Lord, and Exalted.
