Quran khatm plan for Ramadan 2027

One juz a day for 30 days, with its listening time

To finish the Quran in 30 days, read one juz a day: about 20 pages, or 4 pages after each of the five prayers. The table gives each day’s juz, where it starts and its listening time with al-Husary, from 1 h 01 min to 1 h 34 min. Tick each day you finish.

The day-by-day plan

Listening times come from al-Husary’s slow, measured recitation: 39 h 52 min for the whole Quran, 1 h 19 min a day on average. Read aloud, a juz often goes faster.

Four pages after each prayer

The Madani Mushaf has 604 pages, about 20 pages per juz. Reading 4 pages after each of the five prayers, you finish one juz every day without a long sitting.

If Ramadan has 29 days

A lunar month has 29 or 30 days. If Eid comes after 29 days, read juz 29 and 30 on the last day, or add a few pages each day from the start.

To begin: Juz ʿAmma in 30 days

Is one juz a day too much to start? Read only Juz ʿAmma: its 37 short surahs, spread over 30 days, take 1 h 01 min of listening in all, from 37 s to 5 min 06 s a day.

Why read the Quran in Ramadan

Every night of Ramadan, the angel Jibril met the Prophet ﷺ and went over the Quran with him.
