Your questions
What is in the app’s Deen?
Morning and evening adhkar, duas, a tasbih counter, the 99 names of Allah, the Hijri calendar and the zakat calculator.
Does the app correct my duas?
No. Only the Quran is corrected. Duas and adhkar are read and recited, without correction.
Are there reminders?
Yes: reminders, a daily streak and widgets on your phone’s home screen.
Are the calendar dates exact?
They are estimates: the start of a month depends on the moon sighting in your country.
Is there a web or desktop version?
No. Tilawa is an app for iPhone, iPad and Android, because it listens to you through the microphone while you recite. On a computer, this site lets you read and listen to the Quran with colour-coded tajweed. To recite and get corrected, scan the QR code with your phone.
