۞ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا

yāayyuhā

O you

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhīna

who

ءَامَنُوا۟

āmanū

believe

لَا

lā

(Do) not

تَتَّخِذُوا۟

tattakhidhū

take

ٱلْيَهُودَ

l-yahūda

the Jews

وَٱلنَّصَـٰرَىٰٓ

wal-naṣārā

and the Christians

أَوْلِيَآءَ ۘ

awliyāa

(as) allies

بَعْضُهُمْ

baʿḍuhum

Some of them

أَوْلِيَآءُ

awliyāu

(are) allies

بَعْضٍۢ ۚ

baʿḍin

(to) others

وَمَن

waman

And whoever

يَتَوَلَّهُم

yatawallahum

takes them as allies

مِّنكُمْ

minkum

among you

فَإِنَّهُۥ

fa-innahu

then indeed, he

مِنْهُمْ ۗ

min'hum

(is) of them

إِنَّ

inna

Indeed

ٱللَّهَ

l-laha

Allah

لَا

lā

(does) not

يَهْدِى

yahdī

guide

ٱلْقَوْمَ

l-qawma

the people

ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ

l-ẓālimīna

the wrongdoing

فَتَرَى

fatarā

And you see

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhīna

those

فِى

fī

in

قُلُوبِهِم

qulūbihim

their hearts

مَّرَضٌۭ

maraḍun

(is) a disease

يُسَـٰرِعُونَ

yusāriʿūna

they hasten

فِيهِمْ

fīhim

to them

يَقُولُونَ

yaqūlūna

saying

نَخْشَىٰٓ

nakhshā

We fear

أَن

an

that

تُصِيبَنَا

tuṣībanā

(may) strike us

دَآئِرَ ةٌۭ ۚ

dāiratun

a misfortune

فَعَسَى

faʿasā

But perhaps

ٱللَّهُ

l-lahu

Allah

أَن

an

[that]

يَأْتِىَ

yatiya

will bring

بِٱلْفَتْحِ

bil-fatḥi

the victory

أَوْ

aw

or

أَمْرٍۢ

amrin

a decision

مِّنْ

min

from

عِندِهِۦ

ʿindihi

(of) Him

فَيُصْبِحُوا۟

fayuṣ'biḥū

Then they will become

عَلَىٰ

ʿalā

for

مَآ

mā

what

أَسَرُّوا۟

asarrū

they had concealed

فِىٓ

fī

within

أَنفُسِهِمْ

anfusihim

themselves

نَـٰدِمِينَ

nādimīna

regretful

وَيَقُولُ

wayaqūlu

And will say

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhīna

those who

ءَامَنُوٓا۟

āmanū

believe

أَهَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ

ahāulāi

Are these

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhīna

those who

أَقْسَمُوا۟

aqsamū

swore

بِٱللَّهِ

bil-lahi

by Allah

جَهْدَ

jahda

strongest

أَيْمَـٰنِهِمْ ۙ

aymānihim

(of) their oaths

إِنَّهُمْ

innahum

indeed, they

لَمَعَكُمْ ۚ

lamaʿakum

(were) with you

حَبِطَتْ

ḥabiṭat

Became worthless

أَعْمَـٰلُهُمْ

aʿmāluhum

their deeds

فَأَصْبَحُوا۟

fa-aṣbaḥū

and they became

خَـٰسِرِينَ

khāsirīna

(the) losers

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا

yāayyuhā

O you

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhīna

who

ءَامَنُوا۟

āmanū

believe

مَن

man

Whoever

يَرْتَدَّ

yartadda

turns back

مِنكُمْ

minkum

among you

عَن

ʿan

from

دِينِهِۦ

dīnihi

his religion

فَسَوْفَ

fasawfa

then soon

يَأْتِى

yatī

(will be) brought

ٱللَّهُ

l-lahu

(by) Allah

بِقَوْمٍۢ

biqawmin

a people

يُحِبُّهُمْ

yuḥibbuhum

whom He loves

وَيُحِبُّونَهُۥٓ

wayuḥibbūnahu

and they love Him

أَذِلَّةٍ

adhillatin

humble

عَلَى

ʿalā

towards

ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

l-mu'minīna

the believers

أَعِزَّةٍ

aʿizzatin

(and) stern

عَلَى

ʿalā

towards

ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ

l-kāfirīna

the disbelievers

يُجَـٰهِدُونَ

yujāhidūna

striving

فِى

fī

in

سَبِيلِ

sabīli

(the) way

ٱللَّهِ

l-lahi

(of) Allah

وَلَا

walā

and not

يَخَافُونَ

yakhāfūna

fearing

لَوْمَةَ

lawmata

the blame

لَآئِمٍۢ ۚ

lāimin

(of) a critic

ذَٰلِكَ

dhālika

That

فَضْلُ

faḍlu

(is the) Grace

ٱللَّهِ

l-lahi

(of) Allah

يُؤْتِيهِ

yu'tīhi

He grants

مَن

man

whom

يَشَآءُ ۚ

yashāu

He wills

وَٱللَّهُ

wal-lahu

And Allah

وَٰسِعٌ

wāsiʿun

(is) All-Encompassing

عَلِيمٌ

ʿalīmun

All-Knowing

إِنَّمَا

innamā

Only

وَلِيُّكُمُ

waliyyukumu

your ally

ٱللَّهُ

l-lahu

(is) Allah

وَرَسُولُهُۥ

warasūluhu

and His Messenger

وَٱلَّذِينَ

wa-alladhīna

and those who

ءَامَنُوا۟

āmanū

believe

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhīna

and those who

يُقِيمُونَ

yuqīmūna

establish

ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ

l-ṣalata

the prayer

وَيُؤْتُونَ

wayu'tūna

and give

ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ

l-zakata

zakah

وَهُمْ

wahum

and they

رَٰكِعُونَ

rākiʿūna

(are) those who bow down

وَمَن

waman

And whoever

يَتَوَلَّ

yatawalla

takes as an ally

ٱللَّهَ

l-laha

Allah

وَرَسُولَهُۥ

warasūlahu

and His Messenger

وَٱلَّذِينَ

wa-alladhīna

and those who

ءَامَنُوا۟

āmanū

believe

فَإِنَّ

fa-inna

then indeed

حِزْبَ

ḥiz'ba

(the) party

ٱللَّهِ

l-lahi

(of) Allah

هُمُ

humu

they

ٱلْغَـٰلِبُونَ

l-ghālibūna

(are) the victorious

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا

yāayyuhā

O you

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhīna

who

ءَامَنُوا۟

āmanū

believe

لَا

lā

(Do) not

تَتَّخِذُوا۟

tattakhidhū

take

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhīna

those who

ٱتَّخَذُوا۟

ittakhadhū

take

دِينَكُمْ

dīnakum

your religion

هُزُوًۭا

huzuwan

(in) ridicule

وَلَعِبًۭا

walaʿiban

and fun

مِّنَ

mina

from

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhīna

those who

أُوتُوا۟

ūtū

are given

ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ

l-kitāba

the Book

مِن

min

from

قَبْلِكُمْ

qablikum

before you

وَٱلْكُفَّارَ

wal-kufāra

and the disbelievers

أَوْلِيَآءَ ۚ

awliyāa

(as) allies

وَٱتَّقُوا۟

wa-ittaqū

And fear

ٱللَّهَ

l-laha

Allah

إِن

in

if

كُنتُم

kuntum

you are

مُّؤْمِنِينَ

mu'minīna

believers

وَإِذَا

wa-idhā

And when

نَادَيْتُمْ

nādaytum

you make a call

إِلَى

ilā

for

ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ

l-ṣalati

the prayer

ٱتَّخَذُوهَا

ittakhadhūhā

they take it

هُزُوًۭا

huzuwan

(in) ridicule

وَلَعِبًۭا ۚ

walaʿiban

and fun

ذَٰلِكَ

dhālika

That

بِأَنَّهُمْ

bi-annahum

(is) because they

قَوْمٌۭ

qawmun

(are) a people

لَّا

lā

(who do) not

يَعْقِلُونَ

yaʿqilūna

understand

قُلْ

qul

Say

يَـٰٓأَهْلَ

yāahla

O People

ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ

l-kitābi

(of) the Book

هَلْ

hal

Do

تَنقِمُونَ

tanqimūna

you resent

مِنَّآ

minnā

[of] us

إِلَّآ

illā

except

أَنْ

an

that

ءَامَنَّا

āmannā

we believe

بِٱللَّهِ

bil-lahi

in Allah

وَمَآ

wamā

and what

أُنزِلَ

unzila

has been revealed

إِلَيْنَا

ilaynā

to us

وَمَآ

wamā

and what

أُنزِلَ

unzila

was revealed

مِن

min

from

قَبْلُ

qablu

before

وَأَنَّ

wa-anna

and that

أَكْثَرَكُمْ

aktharakum

most of you

فَـٰسِقُونَ

fāsiqūna

(are) defiantly disobedient

قُلْ

qul

Say

هَلْ

hal

Shall

أُنَبِّئُكُم

unabbi-ukum

I inform you

بِشَرٍّۢ

bisharrin

(of) worse

مِّن

min

than

ذَٰلِكَ

dhālika

that

مَثُوبَةً

mathūbatan

(as) recompense

عِندَ

ʿinda

from

ٱللَّهِ ۚ

l-lahi

Allah

مَن

man

Whom

لَّعَنَهُ

laʿanahu

has (been) cursed

ٱللَّهُ

l-lahu

(by) Allah

وَغَضِبَ

waghaḍiba

and He became angry

عَلَيْهِ

ʿalayhi

with him

وَجَعَلَ

wajaʿala

and made

مِنْهُمُ

min'humu

of them

ٱلْقِرَدَةَ

l-qiradata

[the] apes

وَٱلْخَنَازِيرَ

wal-khanāzīra

and [the] swines

وَعَبَدَ

waʿabada

and (who) worshipped

ٱلطَّـٰغُوتَ ۚ

l-ṭāghūta

the false deities

أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ

ulāika

Those

شَرٌّۭ

sharrun

(are) worse

مَّكَانًۭا

makānan

(in) position

وَأَضَلُّ

wa-aḍallu

and farthest astray

عَن

ʿan

from

سَوَآءِ

sawāi

(the) even

ٱلسَّبِيلِ

l-sabīli

way

وَإِذَا

wa-idhā

And when

جَآءُوكُمْ

jāūkum

they come to you

قَالُوٓا۟

qālū

they say

ءَامَنَّا

āmannā

We believe

وَقَد

waqad

But certainly

دَّخَلُوا۟

dakhalū

they entered

بِٱلْكُفْرِ

bil-kuf'ri

with disbelief

وَهُمْ

wahum

and they

قَدْ

qad

certainly

خَرَجُوا۟

kharajū

went out

بِهِۦ ۚ

bihi

with it

وَٱللَّهُ

wal-lahu

And Allah

أَعْلَمُ

aʿlamu

knows best

بِمَا

bimā

[of] what

كَانُوا۟

kānū

they were

يَكْتُمُونَ

yaktumūna

hiding

وَتَرَىٰ

watarā

And you see

كَثِيرًۭا

kathīran

many

مِّنْهُمْ

min'hum

of them

يُسَـٰرِعُونَ

yusāriʿūna

hastening

فِى

fī

into

ٱلْإِثْمِ

l-ith'mi

[the] sin

وَٱلْعُدْوَٰنِ

wal-ʿud'wāni

and [the] transgression

وَأَكْلِهِمُ

wa-aklihimu

and eating

ٱلسُّحْتَ ۚ

l-suḥ'ta

the forbidden

لَبِئْسَ

labi'sa

Surely evil

مَا

mā

(is) what

كَانُوا۟

kānū

they were

يَعْمَلُونَ

yaʿmalūna

doing

لَوْلَا

lawlā

Why (do) not

يَنْهَىٰهُمُ

yanhāhumu

forbid them

ٱلرَّبَّـٰنِيُّونَ

l-rabāniyūna

the Rabbis

وَٱلْأَحْبَارُ

wal-aḥbāru

and the religious scholars

عَن

ʿan

from

قَوْلِهِمُ

qawlihimu

their saying

ٱلْإِثْمَ

l-ith'ma

the sinful

وَأَكْلِهِمُ

wa-aklihimu

and their eating

ٱلسُّحْتَ ۚ

l-suḥ'ta

(of) the forbidden

لَبِئْسَ

labi'sa

Surely, evil

مَا

mā

(is) what

كَانُوا۟

kānū

they used to

يَصْنَعُونَ

yaṣnaʿūna

do

وَقَالَتِ

waqālati

And said

ٱلْيَهُودُ

l-yahūdu

the Jews

يَدُ

yadu

The Hand

ٱللَّهِ

l-lahi

(of) Allah

مَغْلُولَةٌ ۚ

maghlūlatun

(is) chained

غُلَّتْ

ghullat

Are chained

أَيْدِيهِمْ

aydīhim

their hands

وَلُعِنُوا۟

waluʿinū

and they have been cursed

بِمَا

bimā

for what

قَالُوا۟ ۘ

qālū

they said

بَلْ

bal

Nay

يَدَاهُ

yadāhu

His Hands

مَبْسُوطَتَانِ

mabsūṭatāni

(are) stretched out

يُنفِقُ

yunfiqu

He spends

كَيْفَ

kayfa

how

يَشَآءُ ۚ

yashāu

He wills

وَلَيَزِيدَنَّ

walayazīdanna

And surely increase

كَثِيرًۭا

kathīran

many

مِّنْهُم

min'hum

of them

مَّآ

mā

what

أُنزِلَ

unzila

has been revealed

إِلَيْكَ

ilayka

to you

مِن

min

from

رَّبِّكَ

rabbika

your Lord

طُغْيَـٰنًۭا

ṭugh'yānan

(in) rebellion

وَكُفْرًۭا ۚ

wakuf'ran

and disbelief

وَأَلْقَيْنَا

wa-alqaynā

And We have cast

بَيْنَهُمُ

baynahumu

among them

ٱلْعَدَٰوَةَ

l-ʿadāwata

[the] enmity

وَٱلْبَغْضَآءَ

wal-baghḍāa

and [the] hatred

إِلَىٰ

ilā

till

يَوْمِ

yawmi

(the) Day

ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ ۚ

l-qiyāmati

(of) the Resurrection

كُلَّمَآ

kullamā

Every time

أَوْقَدُوا۟

awqadū

they kindled

نَارًۭا

nāran

(the) fire

لِّلْحَرْبِ

lil'ḥarbi

of [the] war

أَطْفَأَهَا

aṭfa-ahā

it (was) extinguished

ٱللَّهُ ۚ

l-lahu

(by) Allah

وَيَسْعَوْنَ

wayasʿawna

And they strive

فِى

fī

in

ٱلْأَرْضِ

l-arḍi

the earth

فَسَادًۭا ۚ

fasādan

spreading corruption

وَٱللَّهُ

wal-lahu

And Allah

لَا

lā

(does) not

يُحِبُّ

yuḥibbu

love

ٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ

l-muf'sidīna

the corrupters

وَلَوْ

walaw

And if

أَنَّ

anna

that

أَهْلَ

ahla

(the) People

ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ

l-kitābi

(of) the Book

ءَامَنُوا۟

āmanū

(had) believed

وَٱتَّقَوْا۟

wa-ittaqaw

and feared (Allah)

لَكَفَّرْنَا

lakaffarnā

surely We (would have) removed

عَنْهُمْ

ʿanhum

from them

سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمْ

sayyiātihim

their evil (deeds)

وَلَأَدْخَلْنَـٰهُمْ

wala-adkhalnāhum

and surely We (would have) admitted them

جَنَّـٰتِ

jannāti

(to) Gardens

ٱلنَّعِيمِ

l-naʿīmi

(of) Bliss

وَلَوْ

walaw

And if

أَنَّهُمْ

annahum

that they

أَقَامُوا۟

aqāmū

had stood firmly

ٱلتَّوْرَىٰةَ

l-tawrāta

(by) the Taurat

وَٱلْإِنجِيلَ

wal-injīla

and the Injeel

وَمَآ

wamā

and what

أُنزِلَ

unzila

was revealed

إِلَيْهِم

ilayhim

to them

مِّن

min

from

رَّبِّهِمْ

rabbihim

their Lord

لَأَكَلُوا۟

la-akalū

surely they (would have) eaten

مِن

min

from

فَوْقِهِمْ

fawqihim

above them

وَمِن

wamin

and from

تَحْتِ

taḥti

beneath

أَرْجُلِهِم ۚ

arjulihim

their feet

مِّنْهُمْ

min'hum

Among them

أُمَّةٌۭ

ummatun

(is) a community

مُّقْتَصِدَةٌۭ ۖ

muq'taṣidatun

moderate

وَكَثِيرٌۭ

wakathīrun

but many

مِّنْهُمْ

min'hum

of them

سَآءَ

sāa

evil

مَا

mā

(is) what

يَعْمَلُونَ

yaʿmalūna

they do

۞ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا

yāayyuhā

O

ٱلرَّسُولُ

l-rasūlu

Messenger

بَلِّغْ

balligh

Convey

مَآ

mā

what

أُنزِلَ

unzila

has been revealed

إِلَيْكَ

ilayka

to you

مِن

min

from

رَّبِّكَ ۖ

rabbika

your Lord

وَإِن

wa-in

and if

لَّمْ

lam

not

تَفْعَلْ

tafʿal

you do

فَمَا

famā

then not

بَلَّغْتَ

ballaghta

you (have) conveyed

رِسَالَتَهُۥ ۚ

risālatahu

His Message

وَٱللَّهُ

wal-lahu

And Allah

يَعْصِمُكَ

yaʿṣimuka

will protect you

مِنَ

mina

from

ٱلنَّاسِ ۗ

l-nāsi

the people

إِنَّ

inna

Indeed

ٱللَّهَ

l-laha

Allah

لَا

lā

(does) not

يَهْدِى

yahdī

guide

ٱلْقَوْمَ

l-qawma

the people

ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ

l-kāfirīna

the disbelieving

قُلْ

qul

Say

يَـٰٓأَهْلَ

yāahla

O People

ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ

l-kitābi

(of) the Book

لَسْتُمْ

lastum

You are not

عَلَىٰ

ʿalā

on

شَىْءٍ

shayin

anything

حَتَّىٰ

ḥattā

until

تُقِيمُوا۟

tuqīmū

you stand firmly

ٱلتَّوْرَىٰةَ

l-tawrāta

(by) the Taurat

وَٱلْإِنجِيلَ

wal-injīla

and the Injeel

وَمَآ

wamā

and what

أُنزِلَ

unzila

has been revealed

إِلَيْكُم

ilaykum

to you

مِّن

min

from

رَّبِّكُمْ ۗ

rabbikum

your Lord

وَلَيَزِيدَنَّ

walayazīdanna

كَثِيرًۭا

kathīran

many

مِّنْهُم

min'hum

of them

مَّآ

mā

what

أُنزِلَ

unzila

has been revealed

إِلَيْكَ

ilayka

to you

مِن

min

from

رَّبِّكَ

rabbika

your Lord

طُغْيَـٰنًۭا

ṭugh'yānan

(in) rebellion

وَكُفْرًۭا ۖ

wakuf'ran

and disbelief

فَلَا

falā

So (do) not

تَأْسَ

tasa

grieve

عَلَى

ʿalā

over

ٱلْقَوْمِ

l-qawmi

the people

ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ

l-kāfirīna

the disbelieving

إِنَّ

inna

Indeed

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhīna

those who

ءَامَنُوا۟

āmanū

believed

وَٱلَّذِينَ

wa-alladhīna

and those who

هَادُوا۟

hādū

became Jews

وَٱلصَّـٰبِـُٔونَ

wal-ṣābiūna

and the Sabians

وَٱلنَّصَـٰرَىٰ

wal-naṣārā

and the Christians

مَنْ

man

whoever

ءَامَنَ

āmana

believed

بِٱللَّهِ

bil-lahi

in Allah

وَٱلْيَوْمِ

wal-yawmi

and the Day

ٱلْـَٔاخِرِ

l-ākhiri

the Last

وَعَمِلَ

waʿamila

and did

صَـٰلِحًۭا

ṣāliḥan

good deeds

فَلَا

falā

then no

خَوْفٌ

khawfun

fear

عَلَيْهِمْ

ʿalayhim

on them

وَلَا

walā

and not

هُمْ

hum

they

يَحْزَنُونَ

yaḥzanūna

will grieve

لَقَدْ

laqad

Certainly

أَخَذْنَا

akhadhnā

We took

مِيثَـٰقَ

mīthāqa

a Covenant

بَنِىٓ

banī

(from the) Children

إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ

is'rāīla

(of) Israel

وَأَرْسَلْنَآ

wa-arsalnā

and We sent

إِلَيْهِمْ

ilayhim

to them

رُسُلًۭا ۖ

rusulan

Messengers

كُلَّمَا

kullamā

Whenever

جَآءَهُمْ

jāahum

came to them

رَسُولٌۢ

rasūlun

any Messenger

بِمَا

bimā

with what

لَا

lā

not

تَهْوَىٰٓ

tahwā

desired

أَنفُسُهُمْ

anfusuhum

their souls

فَرِيقًۭا

farīqan

a group

كَذَّبُوا۟

kadhabū

they denied

وَفَرِيقًۭا

wafarīqan

and a group

يَقْتُلُونَ

yaqtulūna

they kill

وَحَسِبُوٓا۟

waḥasibū

And they thought

أَلَّا

allā

that not

تَكُونَ

takūna

will be (for them)

فِتْنَةٌۭ

fit'natun

a trial

فَعَمُوا۟

faʿamū

so they became blind

وَصَمُّوا۟

waṣammū

and they became deaf

ثُمَّ

thumma

Then

تَابَ

tāba

turned

ٱللَّهُ

l-lahu

Allah

عَلَيْهِمْ

ʿalayhim

to them

ثُمَّ

thumma

then (again)

عَمُوا۟

ʿamū

they became blind

وَصَمُّوا۟

waṣammū

and they became deaf

كَثِيرٌۭ

kathīrun

many

مِّنْهُمْ ۚ

min'hum

of them

وَٱللَّهُ

wal-lahu

And Allah

بَصِيرٌۢ

baṣīrun

(is) All-Seer

بِمَا

bimā

of what

يَعْمَلُونَ

yaʿmalūna

they do

لَقَدْ

laqad

Certainly

كَفَرَ

kafara

disbelieved

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhīna

those who

قَالُوٓا۟

qālū

say

إِنَّ

inna

Indeed

ٱللَّهَ

l-laha

Allah

هُوَ

huwa

He

ٱلْمَسِيحُ

l-masīḥu

(is) the Messiah

ٱبْنُ

ub'nu

son

مَرْيَمَ ۖ

maryama

(of) Maryam

وَقَالَ

waqāla

While said

ٱلْمَسِيحُ

l-masīḥu

the Messiah

يَـٰبَنِىٓ

yābanī

O Children

إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ

is'rāīla

(of) Israel

ٱعْبُدُوا۟

uʿ'budū

Worship

ٱللَّهَ

l-laha

Allah

رَبِّى

rabbī

my Lord

وَرَبَّكُمْ ۖ

warabbakum

and your Lord

إِنَّهُۥ

innahu

Indeed, he

مَن

man

who

يُشْرِكْ

yush'rik

associates partners

بِٱللَّهِ

bil-lahi

with Allah

فَقَدْ

faqad

then surely

حَرَّمَ

ḥarrama

(has) forbidden

ٱللَّهُ

l-lahu

Allah

عَلَيْهِ

ʿalayhi

for him

ٱلْجَنَّةَ

l-janata

Paradise

وَمَأْوَىٰهُ

wamawāhu

and his abode

ٱلنَّارُ ۖ

l-nāru

(will be) the Fire

وَمَا

wamā

And not

لِلظَّـٰلِمِينَ

lilẓẓālimīna

for the wrongdoers

مِنْ

min

Certainly

كَفَرَ

kafara

disbelieved

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhīna

those who

قَالُوٓا۟

qālū

say

إِنَّ

inna

Indeed

ٱللَّهَ

l-laha

Allah

ثَالِثُ

thālithu

(is the) third

ثَلَـٰثَةٍۢ ۘ

thalāthatin

(of) three

وَمَا

wamā

And (there is) no

مِنْ

min

[of]

إِلَـٰهٍ

ilāhin

god

إِلَّآ

illā

except

إِلَـٰهٌۭ

ilāhun

(the) God

وَٰحِدٌۭ ۚ

wāḥidun

(the) One

وَإِن

wa-in

And if

لَّمْ

lam

not

يَنتَهُوا۟

yantahū

they desist

عَمَّا

ʿammā

from what

يَقُولُونَ

yaqūlūna

they are saying

لَيَمَسَّنَّ

layamassanna

surely will afflict

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhīna

those who

كَفَرُوا۟

kafarū

disbelieved

مِنْهُمْ

min'hum

among them

عَذَابٌ

ʿadhābun

a punishment

أَلِيمٌ

alīmun

painful

أَفَلَا

afalā

So will not

يَتُوبُونَ

yatūbūna

they turn in repentance

إِلَى

ilā

to

ٱللَّهِ

l-lahi

Allah

وَيَسْتَغْفِرُونَهُۥ ۚ

wayastaghfirūnahu

and seek His forgiveness

وَٱللَّهُ

wal-lahu

And Allah

غَفُورٌۭ

ghafūrun

(is) Oft-Forgiving

رَّحِيمٌۭ

raḥīmun

Most Merciful

مَّا

mā

Not

ٱلْمَسِيحُ

l-masīḥu

(is) the Messiah

ٱبْنُ

ub'nu

son

مَرْيَمَ

maryama

(of) Maryam

إِلَّا

illā

but

رَسُولٌۭ

rasūlun

a Messenger

قَدْ

qad

certainly

خَلَتْ

khalat

had passed

مِن

min

from

قَبْلِهِ

qablihi

before him

ٱلرُّسُلُ

l-rusulu

the Messengers

وَأُمُّهُۥ

wa-ummuhu

And his mother

صِدِّيقَةٌۭ ۖ

ṣiddīqatun

(was) truthful

كَانَا

kānā

They both used to

يَأْكُلَانِ

yakulāni

eat

ٱلطَّعَامَ ۗ

l-ṭaʿāma

[the] food

ٱنظُرْ

unẓur

See

كَيْفَ

kayfa

how

نُبَيِّنُ

nubayyinu

We make clear

لَهُمُ

lahumu

to them

ٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِ

l-āyāti

the Signs

ثُمَّ

thumma

then

ٱنظُرْ

unẓur

see

أَنَّىٰ

annā

how

يُؤْفَكُونَ

yu'fakūna

they are deluded
