قُلِ

quli

Say

ٱللَّهُ

l-lahu

Allah

يُحْيِيكُمْ

yuḥ'yīkum

gives you life

ثُمَّ

thumma

then

يُمِيتُكُمْ

yumītukum

causes you to die

ثُمَّ

thumma

then

يَجْمَعُكُمْ

yajmaʿukum

He will gather you

إِلَىٰ

ilā

to

يَوْمِ

yawmi

(the) Day

ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ

l-qiyāmati

(of) the Resurrection

لَا

lā

no

رَيْبَ

rayba

doubt

فِيهِ

fīhi

about it

وَلَـٰكِنَّ

walākinna

But

أَكْثَرَ

akthara

most

ٱلنَّاسِ

l-nāsi

(of) the people

لَا

lā

(do) not

يَعْلَمُونَ

yaʿlamūna

know

وَلِلَّهِ

walillahi

And for Allah

مُلْكُ

mul'ku

(is the) dominion

ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ

l-samāwāti

(of) the heavens

وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ

wal-arḍi

and the earth

وَيَوْمَ

wayawma

and (the) Day

تَقُومُ

taqūmu

is established

ٱلسَّاعَةُ

l-sāʿatu

the Hour

يَوْمَئِذٍۢ

yawma-idhin

that Day

يَخْسَرُ

yakhsaru

will lose

ٱلْمُبْطِلُونَ

l-mub'ṭilūna

the falsifiers

وَتَرَىٰ

watarā

And you will see

كُلَّ

kulla

every

أُمَّةٍۢ

ummatin

nation

جَاثِيَةًۭ ۚ

jāthiyatan

kneeling

كُلُّ

kullu

Every

أُمَّةٍۢ

ummatin

nation

تُدْعَىٰٓ

tud'ʿā

will be called

إِلَىٰ

ilā

to

كِتَـٰبِهَا

kitābihā

its record

ٱلْيَوْمَ

l-yawma

Today

تُجْزَوْنَ

tuj'zawna

you will be recompensed

مَا

mā

(for) what

كُنتُمْ

kuntum

you used to

تَعْمَلُونَ

taʿmalūna

do

هَـٰذَا

hādhā

This

كِتَـٰبُنَا

kitābunā

Our Record

يَنطِقُ

yanṭiqu

speaks

عَلَيْكُم

ʿalaykum

about you

بِٱلْحَقِّ ۚ

bil-ḥaqi

in truth

إِنَّا

innā

Indeed, We

كُنَّا

kunnā

[We] used to

نَسْتَنسِخُ

nastansikhu

transcribe

مَا

mā

what

كُنتُمْ

kuntum

you used to

تَعْمَلُونَ

taʿmalūna

do

فَأَمَّا

fa-ammā

Then as for

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhīna

those who

ءَامَنُوا۟

āmanū

believed

وَعَمِلُوا۟

waʿamilū

and did

ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ

l-ṣāliḥāti

[the] righteous deeds

فَيُدْخِلُهُمْ

fayud'khiluhum

will admit them

رَبُّهُمْ

rabbuhum

their Lord

فِى

fī

in(to)

رَحْمَتِهِۦ ۚ

raḥmatihi

His mercy

ذَٰلِكَ

dhālika

That

هُوَ

huwa

[it]

ٱلْفَوْزُ

l-fawzu

(is) the success

ٱلْمُبِينُ

l-mubīnu

clear

وَأَمَّا

wa-ammā

But as for

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhīna

those who

كَفَرُوٓا۟

kafarū

disbelieved

أَفَلَمْ

afalam

Then were not

تَكُنْ

takun

Then were not

ءَايَـٰتِى

āyātī

My Verses

تُتْلَىٰ

tut'lā

recited

عَلَيْكُمْ

ʿalaykum

to you

فَٱسْتَكْبَرْتُمْ

fa-is'takbartum

but you were proud

وَكُنتُمْ

wakuntum

and you became

قَوْمًۭا

qawman

a people

مُّجْرِمِينَ

muj'rimīna

criminals

وَإِذَا

wa-idhā

And when

قِيلَ

qīla

it was said

إِنَّ

inna

Indeed

وَعْدَ

waʿda

(the) Promise

ٱللَّهِ

l-lahi

(of) Allah

حَقٌّۭ

ḥaqqun

(is) true

وَٱلسَّاعَةُ

wal-sāʿatu

and the Hour

لَا

lā

(there is) no

رَيْبَ

rayba

doubt

فِيهَا

fīhā

about it

قُلْتُم

qul'tum

you said

مَّا

mā

Not

نَدْرِى

nadrī

we know

مَا

mā

what

ٱلسَّاعَةُ

l-sāʿatu

the Hour (is)

إِن

in

Not

نَّظُنُّ

naẓunnu

we think

إِلَّا

illā

except

ظَنًّۭا

ẓannan

an assumption

وَمَا

wamā

and not

نَحْنُ

naḥnu

we

بِمُسْتَيْقِنِينَ

bimus'tayqinīna

(are) convinced

وَبَدَا

wabadā

And (will) appear

لَهُمْ

lahum

to them

سَيِّـَٔاتُ

sayyiātu

(the) evil

مَا

mā

(of) what

عَمِلُوا۟

ʿamilū

they did

وَحَاقَ

waḥāqa

and (will) envelop

بِهِم

bihim

them

مَّا

mā

what

كَانُوا۟

kānū

they used

بِهِۦ

bihi

[at it]

يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ

yastahziūna

(to) mock

وَقِيلَ

waqīla

And it will be said

ٱلْيَوْمَ

l-yawma

Today

نَنسَىٰكُمْ

nansākum

We forget you

كَمَا

kamā

as

نَسِيتُمْ

nasītum

you forgot

لِقَآءَ

liqāa

(the) meeting

يَوْمِكُمْ

yawmikum

(of) this Day of yours

هَـٰذَا

hādhā

(of) this Day of yours

وَمَأْوَىٰكُمُ

wamawākumu

and your abode

ٱلنَّارُ

l-nāru

(is) the Fire

وَمَا

wamā

and not

لَكُم

lakum

for you

مِّن

min

any

نَّـٰصِرِينَ

nāṣirīna

helpers

ذَٰلِكُم

dhālikum

That

بِأَنَّكُمُ

bi-annakumu

(is) because you

ٱتَّخَذْتُمْ

ittakhadhtum

took

ءَايَـٰتِ

āyāti

(the) Verses

ٱللَّهِ

l-lahi

(of) Allah

هُزُوًۭا

huzuwan

(in) ridicule

وَغَرَّتْكُمُ

wagharratkumu

and deceived you

ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ

l-ḥayatu

the life

ٱلدُّنْيَا ۚ

l-dun'yā

(of) the world

فَٱلْيَوْمَ

fal-yawma

So this Day

لَا

lā

not

يُخْرَجُونَ

yukh'rajūna

they will be brought forth

مِنْهَا

min'hā

from it

وَلَا

walā

and not

هُمْ

hum

they

يُسْتَعْتَبُونَ

yus'taʿtabūna

will be asked to appease

فَلِلَّهِ

falillahi

Then for Allah

ٱلْحَمْدُ

l-ḥamdu

(is) all the praise

رَبِّ

rabbi

(the) Lord

ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ

l-samāwāti

(of) the heavens

وَرَبِّ

warabbi

and (the) Lord

ٱلْأَرْضِ

l-arḍi

(of) the earth

رَبِّ

rabbi

(the) lord

ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ

l-ʿālamīna

(of) the worlds

وَلَهُ

walahu

And for Him

ٱلْكِبْرِيَآءُ

l-kib'riyāu

(is) the greatness

فِى

fī

in

ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ

l-samāwāti

the heavens

وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ

wal-arḍi

and the earth

وَهُوَ

wahuwa

and He

ٱلْعَزِيزُ

l-ʿazīzu

(is) the All-Mighty

ٱلْحَكِيمُ

l-ḥakīmu

the All-Wise
