1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Tilawa.ai application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and WORKSCALE, SASU ("we", "our", "us").

2. Description of Service

Tilawa.ai is a Quran recitation learning application that provides:

• AI-powered analysis of your Quran recitation
• Tajweed rule detection and feedback
• Progress tracking, gamification, and learning resources
• Audio playback of professional Quran reciters

The App is designed as an educational tool and is not a substitute for learning from a qualified Quran teacher.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide a valid email address and create a password to use the App
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• Users under 16 require parental or guardian consent to create an account
• You agree to provide accurate and complete information
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or infrastructure
• Upload malicious content or attempt to exploit vulnerabilities
• Create multiple accounts to abuse the system
• Use automated tools to interact with the App
• Redistribute, resell, or sublicense the App or its content
• Remove any copyright or proprietary notices

5. Quranic Content

• The Quranic text displayed in the App is sourced from verified, authenticated mushaf editions
• Audio recitations are provided by licensed professional reciters
• Tajweed rules and educational content are based on established Islamic scholarship
• While we strive for accuracy, the App is a learning aid — always verify with a qualified teacher for matters of religious practice
• We respect the sacred nature of Quranic content and expect users to do the same

6. Intellectual Property

• The App, including its design, code, AI models, and original content, is the property of WORKSCALE, SASU
• Quranic text is in the public domain
• Audio recitations are used under license from their respective copyright holders
• You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes

7. Subscriptions and Payments

7.1 Plans and Billing

• The App offers a free tier with limited features and a Premium subscription with full access
• Premium is available as a monthly or annual subscription
• Pricing and billing cycle (monthly or annual) are clearly displayed before purchase
• All payments are processed exclusively through Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android)
• Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled

7.2 How to Cancel

• iOS: Go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Tilawa.ai → Cancel
• Android: Go to Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → Tilawa.ai → Cancel
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then
• Deleting the App does NOT cancel your subscription — you must cancel through your device's store

7.3 Refunds

• Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective refund policies
• WORKSCALE, SASU does not process payments directly and cannot issue refunds
• For iOS: visit reportaproblem.apple.com
• For Android: visit Google Play Store → Order history → Request refund
• We recommend cancelling your subscription before requesting a refund

7.4 Price Changes

• We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing with reasonable advance notice
• Existing subscribers will be notified before any price increase takes effect
• You may cancel before the new pricing applies

8. Account Termination

• You may delete your account at any time from the App settings
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms
• Upon account deletion, all your personal data will be permanently deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy
• We are not liable for any loss of data resulting from account deletion

9. Disclaimers

• The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind
• We do not guarantee that the AI analysis will be 100% accurate at all times
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation
• We are not responsible for any decisions made based on the App's feedback
• The tajweed analysis is a learning tool and should complement, not replace, instruction from qualified teachers

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• WORKSCALE, SASU shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim
• Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of France.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified through the App. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
