بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
قُلْ أُوحِىَ إِلَىَّ أَنَّهُ ٱسْتَمَعَ نَفَرٌ مِّنَ ٱلْجِنِّ فَقَالُوٓاْ إِنَّا سَمِعْنَا قُرْءَانًا عَجَبًا ﴿١﴾

ٱلْجِنِّ

the jinn
فَقَالُوٓا۟

and they said
إِنَّا

Indeed, we
سَمِعْنَا
samiʿ'nā
heard
قُرْءَانًا
qur'ānan
a Quran
عَجَبًۭا
ʿajaban
amazing
يَهْدِىٓ إِلَى ٱلرُّشْدِ فَـَٔـامَنَّا بِهِۦۖ وَلَن نُّشْرِكَ بِرَبِّنَآ أَحَدًا ﴿٢﴾

وَأَنَّهُۥ تَعَـٰلَىٰ جَدُّ رَبِّنَا مَا ٱتَّخَذَ صَـٰحِبَةً وَلَا وَلَدًا ﴿٣﴾

جَدُّ

(the) Majesty
رَبِّنَا

He has taken
صَـٰحِبَةًۭ
ṣāḥibatan
a wife
وَلَا
walā
and not
وَلَدًۭا
waladan
a son
وَأَنَّهُۥ كَانَ يَقُولُ سَفِيهُنَا عَلَى ٱللَّهِ شَطَطًا ﴿٤﴾

وَأَنَّا ظَنَنَّآ أَن لَّن تَقُولَ ٱلْإِنسُ وَٱلْجِنُّ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبًا ﴿٥﴾

وَأَنَّهُۥ كَانَ رِجَالٌ مِّنَ ٱلْإِنسِ يَعُوذُونَ بِرِجَالٍ مِّنَ ٱلْجِنِّ فَزَادُوهُمْ رَهَقًا ﴿٦﴾

so they increased them
رَهَقًۭا

(in) burden
وَأَنَّهُمْ ظَنُّواْ كَمَا ظَنَنتُمْ أَن لَّن يَبْعَثَ ٱللَّهُ أَحَدًا ﴿٧﴾

وَأَنَّا لَمَسْنَا ٱلسَّمَآءَ فَوَجَدْنَـٰهَا مُلِئَتْ حَرَسًا شَدِيدًا وَشُهُبًا ﴿٨﴾

فَوَجَدْنَـٰهَا

guards
شَدِيدًۭا
shadīdan
severe
وَشُهُبًۭا
washuhuban
and flaming fires
وَأَنَّا كُنَّا نَقْعُدُ مِنْهَا مَقَـٰعِدَ لِلسَّمْعِۖ فَمَن يَسْتَمِعِ ٱلْأَنَ يَجِدْ لَهُۥ شِهَابًا رَّصَدًا ﴿٩﴾

يَجِدْ
yajid
will find
لَهُۥ

for him
شِهَابًۭا
shihāban
a flaming fire
رَّصَدًۭا
raṣadan
waiting
وَأَنَّا لَا نَدْرِىٓ أَشَرٌّ أُرِيدَ بِمَن فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ أَمْ أَرَادَ بِهِمْ رَبُّهُمْ رَشَدًا ﴿١٠﴾

وَأَنَّا مِنَّا ٱلصَّـٰلِحُونَ وَمِنَّا دُونَ ذَٲلِكَۖ كُنَّا طَرَآئِقَ قِدَدًا ﴿١١﴾

طَرَآئِقَ

وَأَنَّا ظَنَنَّآ أَن لَّن نُّعْجِزَ ٱللَّهَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَن نُّعْجِزَهُۥ هَرَبًا ﴿١٢﴾

we can escape Him
هَرَبًۭا
haraban
(by) flight
وَأَنَّا لَمَّا سَمِعْنَا ٱلْهُدَىٰٓ ءَامَنَّا بِهِۦۖ فَمَن يُؤْمِنۢ بِرَبِّهِۦ فَلَا يَخَافُ بَخْسًا وَلَا رَهَقًا ﴿١٣﴾

ٱلْهُدَىٰٓ

the Guidance
ءَامَنَّا

And whoever
يُؤْمِنۢ
yu'min
believes
بِرَبِّهِۦ
birabbihi
in his Lord
فَلَا
falā
then not
يَخَافُ
yakhāfu
he will fear
بَخْسًۭا
bakhsan
any loss
وَلَا
walā
and not
رَهَقًۭا
rahaqan
any burden
وَأَنَّا مِنَّا ٱلْمُسْلِمُونَ وَمِنَّا ٱلْقَـٰسِطُونَۖ فَمَنْ أَسْلَمَ فَأُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ تَحَرَّوْاْ رَشَدًا ﴿١٤﴾

ٱلْمُسْلِمُونَ
l-mus'limūna
(are) Muslims
وَمِنَّا
waminnā
and among us
ٱلْقَـٰسِطُونَ ۖ
l-qāsiṭūna
(are) unjust
فَمَنْ
faman
And whoever
أَسْلَمَ
aslama
submits
فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ
fa-ulāika
then those
تَحَرَّوْا۟
taḥarraw
have sought
رَشَدًۭا
rashadan
(the) right path
وَأَمَّا ٱلْقَـٰسِطُونَ فَكَانُواْ لِجَهَنَّمَ حَطَبًا ﴿١٥﴾

And as for
ٱلْقَـٰسِطُونَ
l-qāsiṭūna
the unjust
فَكَانُوا۟
fakānū
they will be
لِجَهَنَّمَ
lijahannama
for Hell
حَطَبًۭا
ḥaṭaban
firewood
وَأَلَّوِ ٱسْتَقَـٰمُواْ عَلَى ٱلطَّرِيقَةِ لَأَسْقَيْنَـٰهُم مَّآءً غَدَقًا ﴿١٦﴾

wa-allawi
And that if
ٱسْتَقَـٰمُوا۟
is'taqāmū
they had remained
عَلَى
ʿalā
on
ٱلطَّرِيقَةِ
l-ṭarīqati
the Way
لَأَسْقَيْنَـٰهُم
la-asqaynāhum
surely We (would) have given them to drink
مَّآءً
māan
water
غَدَقًۭا
ghadaqan
(in) abundance
لِّنَفْتِنَهُمْ فِيهِۚ وَمَن يُعْرِضْ عَن ذِكْرِ رَبِّهِۦ يَسْلُكْهُ عَذَابًا صَعَدًا ﴿١٧﴾

That We might test them
فِيهِ ۚ

وَمَن
waman
And whoever
يُعْرِضْ
yuʿ'riḍ
turns away

the Remembrance
رَبِّهِۦ
rabbihi
(of) his Lord
يَسْلُكْهُ
yasluk'hu
He will make him enter
عَذَابًۭا
ʿadhāban
a punishment
صَعَدًۭا
ṣaʿadan
severe
وَأَنَّ ٱلْمَسَـٰجِدَ لِلَّهِ فَلَا تَدْعُواْ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ أَحَدًا ﴿١٨﴾

the masjids
لِلَّهِ

فَلَا

أَحَدًۭا

وَأَنَّهُۥ لَمَّا قَامَ عَبْدُ ٱللَّهِ يَدْعُوهُ كَادُواْ يَكُونُونَ عَلَيْهِ لِبَدًا ﴿١٩﴾

(is the) Fire
جَهَنَّمَ
jahannama
(of) Hell
خَـٰلِدِينَ
khālidīna
(they will) abide
فِيهَآ
fīhā
therein
أَبَدًا
abadan
forever
حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا رَأَوْاْ مَا يُوعَدُونَ فَسَيَعْلَمُونَ مَنْ أَضْعَفُ نَاصِرًا وَأَقَلُّ عَدَدًا ﴿٢٤﴾

قُلْ إِنْ أَدْرِىٓ أَقَرِيبٌ مَّا تُوعَدُونَ أَمْ يَجْعَلُ لَهُۥ رَبِّىٓ أَمَدًا ﴿٢٥﴾
