Al-Insan

وَمِنَ

wamina

And of

ٱلَّيْلِ

al-layli

the night

فَٱسْجُدْ

fa-us'jud

prostrate

لَهُۥ

lahu

to Him

وَسَبِّحْهُ

wasabbiḥ'hu

and glorify Him

لَيْلًۭا

laylan

a night

طَوِيلًا

ṭawīlan

long

إِنَّ

inna

Indeed

هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ

hāulāi

these

يُحِبُّونَ

yuḥibbūna

love

ٱلْعَاجِلَةَ

l-ʿājilata

the immediate

وَيَذَرُونَ

wayadharūna

and leave

وَرَآءَهُمْ

warāahum

behind them

يَوْمًۭا

yawman

a Day

ثَقِيلًۭا

thaqīlan

grave

نَّحْنُ

naḥnu

We

خَلَقْنَـٰهُمْ

khalaqnāhum

created them

وَشَدَدْنَآ

washadadnā

and We strengthened

أَسْرَهُمْ ۖ

asrahum

their forms

وَإِذَا

wa-idhā

and when

شِئْنَا

shi'nā

We will

بَدَّلْنَآ

baddalnā

We can change

أَمْثَـٰلَهُمْ

amthālahum

their likeness[es]

تَبْدِيلًا

tabdīlan

(with) a change

إِنَّ

inna

Indeed

هَـٰذِهِۦ

hādhihi

this

تَذْكِرَةٌۭ ۖ

tadhkiratun

(is) a reminder

فَمَن

faman

so whoever

شَآءَ

shāa

wills

ٱتَّخَذَ

ittakhadha

let him take

إِلَىٰ

ilā

to

رَبِّهِۦ

rabbihi

his Lord

سَبِيلًۭا

sabīlan

a way

وَمَا

wamā

And not

تَشَآءُونَ

tashāūna

you will

إِلَّآ

illā

except

أَن

an

that

يَشَآءَ

yashāa

wills

ٱللَّهُ ۚ

l-lahu

Allah

إِنَّ

inna

Indeed

ٱللَّهَ

l-laha

Allah

كَانَ

kāna

is

عَلِيمًا

ʿalīman

All-Knower

حَكِيمًۭا

ḥakīman

All-Wise

يُدْخِلُ

yud'khilu

He admits

مَن

man

whom

يَشَآءُ

yashāu

He wills

فِى

fī

into

رَحْمَتِهِۦ ۚ

raḥmatihi

His mercy

وَٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ

wal-ẓālimīna

but (for) the wrongdoers

أَعَدَّ

aʿadda

He has prepared

لَهُمْ

lahum

for them

عَذَابًا

ʿadhāban

a punishment

أَلِيمًۢا

alīman

painful
