Al-'Ankabut

أَوَلَمْ

awalam

And is (it) not

يَكْفِهِمْ

yakfihim

sufficient for them

أَنَّآ

annā

that We

أَنزَلْنَا

anzalnā

revealed

عَلَيْكَ

ʿalayka

to you

ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ

l-kitāba

the Book

يُتْلَىٰ

yut'lā

(which) is recited

عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ

ʿalayhim

to them

إِنَّ

inna

Indeed

فِى

fī

in

ذَٰلِكَ

dhālika

that

لَرَحْمَةًۭ

laraḥmatan

surely is a mercy

وَذِكْرَىٰ

wadhik'rā

and a reminder

لِقَوْمٍۢ

liqawmin

for a people

يُؤْمِنُونَ

yu'minūna

who believe

قُلْ

qul

Say

كَفَىٰ

kafā

Sufficient is

بِٱللَّهِ

bil-lahi

Allah

بَيْنِى

baynī

between me

وَبَيْنَكُمْ

wabaynakum

and between you

شَهِيدًۭا ۖ

shahīdan

(as) a Witness

يَعْلَمُ

yaʿlamu

He knows

مَا

mā

what

فِى

fī

(is) in

ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ

l-samāwāti

the heavens

وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۗ

wal-arḍi

and the earth

وَٱلَّذِينَ

wa-alladhīna

And those who

ءَامَنُوا۟

āmanū

believe

بِٱلْبَـٰطِلِ

bil-bāṭili

in [the] falsehood

وَكَفَرُوا۟

wakafarū

and disbelieve

بِٱللَّهِ

bil-lahi

in Allah

أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ

ulāika

those

هُمُ

humu

they

ٱلْخَـٰسِرُونَ

l-khāsirūna

(are) the losers

وَيَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَ

wayastaʿjilūnaka

And they ask you to hasten

بِٱلْعَذَابِ ۚ

bil-ʿadhābi

[with] the punishment

وَلَوْلَآ

walawlā

And if not

أَجَلٌۭ

ajalun

(for) a term

مُّسَمًّۭى

musamman

appointed

لَّجَآءَهُمُ

lajāahumu

surely (would) have come to them

ٱلْعَذَابُ

l-ʿadhābu

the punishment

وَلَيَأْتِيَنَّهُم

walayatiyannahum

But it will surely come to them

بَغْتَةًۭ

baghtatan

suddenly

وَهُمْ

wahum

while they

لَا

lā

(do) not

يَشْعُرُونَ

yashʿurūna

perceive

يَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَ

yastaʿjilūnaka

They ask you to hasten

بِٱلْعَذَابِ

bil-ʿadhābi

the punishment

وَإِنَّ

wa-inna

And indeed

جَهَنَّمَ

jahannama

Hell

لَمُحِيطَةٌۢ

lamuḥīṭatun

will surely, encompass

بِٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ

bil-kāfirīna

the disbelievers

يَوْمَ

yawma

On (the) Day

يَغْشَىٰهُمُ

yaghshāhumu

will cover them

ٱلْعَذَابُ

l-ʿadhābu

the punishment

مِن

min

from

فَوْقِهِمْ

fawqihim

above them

وَمِن

wamin

and from

تَحْتِ

taḥti

below

أَرْجُلِهِمْ

arjulihim

their feet

وَيَقُولُ

wayaqūlu

and He will say

ذُوقُوا۟

dhūqū

Taste

مَا

mā

what

كُنتُمْ

kuntum

you used

تَعْمَلُونَ

taʿmalūna

(to) do

يَـٰعِبَادِىَ

yāʿibādiya

O My servants

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhīna

who

ءَامَنُوٓا۟

āmanū

believe

إِنَّ

inna

Indeed

أَرْضِى

arḍī

My earth

وَٰسِعَةٌۭ

wāsiʿatun

(is) spacious

فَإِيَّـٰىَ

fa-iyyāya

so only

فَٱعْبُدُونِ

fa-uʿ'budūni

worship Me

كُلُّ

kullu

Every

نَفْسٍۢ

nafsin

soul

ذَآئِقَةُ

dhāiqatu

(will) taste

ٱلْمَوْتِ ۖ

l-mawti

the death

ثُمَّ

thumma

Then

إِلَيْنَا

ilaynā

to Us

تُرْجَعُونَ

tur'jaʿūna

you will be returned

وَٱلَّذِينَ

wa-alladhīna

And those who

ءَامَنُوا۟

āmanū

believe

وَعَمِلُوا۟

waʿamilū

and do

ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ

l-ṣāliḥāti

[the] righteous deeds

لَنُبَوِّئَنَّهُم

lanubawwi-annahum

surely We will give them a place

مِّنَ

mina

in

ٱلْجَنَّةِ

l-janati

Paradise

غُرَفًۭا

ghurafan

lofty dwellings

تَجْرِى

tajrī

flow

مِن

min

from

تَحْتِهَا

taḥtihā

underneath it

ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ

l-anhāru

the rivers

خَـٰلِدِينَ

khālidīna

will abide forever

فِيهَا ۚ

fīhā

in it

نِعْمَ

niʿ'ma

Excellent is

أَجْرُ

ajru

(the) reward

ٱلْعَـٰمِلِينَ

l-ʿāmilīna

(of) the workers

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhīna

Those who

صَبَرُوا۟

ṣabarū

(are) patient

وَعَلَىٰ

waʿalā

and upon

رَبِّهِمْ

rabbihim

their Lord

يَتَوَكَّلُونَ

yatawakkalūna

put their trust

وَكَأَيِّن

waka-ayyin

And how many

مِّن

min

of

دَآبَّةٍۢ

dābbatin

a creature

لَّا

lā

(does) not

تَحْمِلُ

taḥmilu

carry

رِزْقَهَا

riz'qahā

its provision

ٱللَّهُ

l-lahu

Allah

يَرْزُقُهَا

yarzuquhā

provides (for) it

وَإِيَّاكُمْ ۚ

wa-iyyākum

and (for) you

وَهُوَ

wahuwa

And He

ٱلسَّمِيعُ

l-samīʿu

(is) the All-Hearer

ٱلْعَلِيمُ

l-ʿalīmu

the All-Knower

وَلَئِن

wala-in

And if

سَأَلْتَهُم

sa-altahum

you ask them

مَّنْ

man

Who

خَلَقَ

khalaqa

created

ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ

l-samāwāti

the heavens

وَٱلْأَرْضَ

wal-arḍa

and the earth

وَسَخَّرَ

wasakhara

and subjected

ٱلشَّمْسَ

l-shamsa

the sun

وَٱلْقَمَرَ

wal-qamara

and the moon

لَيَقُولُنَّ

layaqūlunna

Surely they would say

ٱللَّهُ ۖ

l-lahu

Allah

فَأَنَّىٰ

fa-annā

Then how

يُؤْفَكُونَ

yu'fakūna

are they deluded

ٱللَّهُ

al-lahu

Allah

يَبْسُطُ

yabsuṭu

extends

ٱلرِّزْقَ

l-riz'qa

the provision

لِمَن

liman

for whom

يَشَآءُ

yashāu

He wills

مِنْ

min

of

عِبَادِهِۦ

ʿibādihi

His slaves

وَيَقْدِرُ

wayaqdiru

and restricts

لَهُۥٓ ۚ

lahu

for him

إِنَّ

inna

Indeed

ٱللَّهَ

l-laha

Allah

بِكُلِّ

bikulli

of every

شَىْءٍ

shayin

thing

عَلِيمٌۭ

ʿalīmun

(is) All-Knower

وَلَئِن

wala-in

And if

سَأَلْتَهُم

sa-altahum

you ask them

مَّن

man

Who

نَّزَّلَ

nazzala

sends down

مِنَ

mina

from

ٱلسَّمَآءِ

l-samāi

the sky

مَآءًۭ

māan

water

فَأَحْيَا

fa-aḥyā

and gives life

بِهِ

bihi

thereby

ٱلْأَرْضَ

l-arḍa

(to) the earth

مِنۢ

min

after

بَعْدِ

baʿdi

after

مَوْتِهَا

mawtihā

its death

لَيَقُولُنَّ

layaqūlunna

Surely, they would say

ٱللَّهُ ۚ

l-lahu

Allah

قُلِ

quli

Say

ٱلْحَمْدُ

l-ḥamdu

All Praises

لِلَّهِ ۚ

lillahi

(are) for Allah

بَلْ

bal

But

أَكْثَرُهُمْ

aktharuhum

most of them

لَا

lā

(do) not

يَعْقِلُونَ

yaʿqilūna

use reason

وَمَا

wamā

And not

هَـٰذِهِ

hādhihi

(is) this

ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ

l-ḥayatu

life

ٱلدُّنْيَآ

l-dun'yā

(of) the world

إِلَّا

illā

but

لَهْوٌۭ

lahwun

amusement

وَلَعِبٌۭ ۚ

walaʿibun

and play

وَإِنَّ

wa-inna

And indeed

ٱلدَّارَ

l-dāra

the Home

ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةَ

l-ākhirata

(of) the Hereafter

لَهِىَ

lahiya

surely, it

ٱلْحَيَوَانُ ۚ

l-ḥayawānu

(is) the life

لَوْ

law

if only

كَانُوا۟

kānū

they

يَعْلَمُونَ

yaʿlamūna

know

فَإِذَا

fa-idhā

And when

رَكِبُوا۟

rakibū

they embark

فِى

fī

[in]

ٱلْفُلْكِ

l-ful'ki

the ship

دَعَوُا۟

daʿawū

they call

ٱللَّهَ

l-laha

Allah

مُخْلِصِينَ

mukh'liṣīna

(being) sincere

لَهُ

lahu

to Him

ٱلدِّينَ

l-dīna

(in) the religion

فَلَمَّا

falammā

But when

نَجَّىٰهُمْ

najjāhum

He delivers them

إِلَى

ilā

to

ٱلْبَرِّ

l-bari

the land

إِذَا

idhā

behold

هُمْ

hum

they

يُشْرِكُونَ

yush'rikūna

associate partners (with Him)

لِيَكْفُرُوا۟

liyakfurū

So that they may deny

بِمَآ

bimā

[in] what

ءَاتَيْنَـٰهُمْ

ātaynāhum

We have given them

وَلِيَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ ۖ

waliyatamattaʿū

and they may enjoy (themselves)

فَسَوْفَ

fasawfa

But soon

يَعْلَمُونَ

yaʿlamūna

they will know

أَوَلَمْ

awalam

Do not

يَرَوْا۟

yaraw

they see

أَنَّا

annā

that We

جَعَلْنَا

jaʿalnā

have made

حَرَمًا

ḥaraman

a Sanctuary

ءَامِنًۭا

āminan

secure

وَيُتَخَطَّفُ

wayutakhaṭṭafu

while are being taken away

ٱلنَّاسُ

l-nāsu

the people

مِنْ

min

around them

حَوْلِهِمْ ۚ

ḥawlihim

around them

أَفَبِٱلْبَـٰطِلِ

afabil-bāṭili

Then do in (the) falsehood

يُؤْمِنُونَ

yu'minūna

they believe

وَبِنِعْمَةِ

wabiniʿ'mati

and in (the) Favor

ٱللَّهِ

l-lahi

(of) Allah

يَكْفُرُونَ

yakfurūna

they disbelieve

وَمَنْ

waman

And who

أَظْلَمُ

aẓlamu

(is) more unjust

مِمَّنِ

mimmani

than (he) who

ٱفْتَرَىٰ

if'tarā

invents

عَلَى

ʿalā

against

ٱللَّهِ

l-lahi

Allah

كَذِبًا

kadhiban

a lie

أَوْ

aw

or

كَذَّبَ

kadhaba

denies

بِٱلْحَقِّ

bil-ḥaqi

the truth

لَمَّا

lammā

when

جَآءَهُۥٓ ۚ

jāahu

it has come to him

أَلَيْسَ

alaysa

Is there not

فِى

fī

in

جَهَنَّمَ

jahannama

Hell

مَثْوًۭى

mathwan

an abode

لِّلْكَـٰفِرِينَ

lil'kāfirīna

for the disbelievers

وَٱلَّذِينَ

wa-alladhīna

And those who

جَـٰهَدُوا۟

jāhadū

strive

فِينَا

fīnā

for Us

لَنَهْدِيَنَّهُمْ

lanahdiyannahum

We will surely, guide them

سُبُلَنَا ۚ

subulanā

(to) Our ways

وَإِنَّ

wa-inna

And indeed

ٱللَّهَ

l-laha

Allah

لَمَعَ

lamaʿa

surely (is) with

ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ

l-muḥ'sinīna

the good-doers
