أحكام التجويد
بَدِيعُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٲتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِۖ أَنَّىٰ يَكُونُ لَهُۥ وَلَدٌ وَلَمْ تَكُن لَّهُۥ صَـٰحِبَةٌۖ وَخَلَقَ كُلَّ شَىْءٍۖ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌ ﴿١٠١﴾
كلمة بكلمة
بَدِيعُ
badīʿu
Originator
ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ
l-samāwāti
(of) the heavens
وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ
wal-arḍi
and the earth
أَنَّىٰ
annā
How
يَكُونُ
yakūnu
can be
لَهُۥ
lahu
for Him
وَلَدٌۭ
waladun
a son
وَلَمْ
walam
while not
تَكُن
takun
(there) is
لَّهُۥ
lahu
for Him
صَـٰحِبَةٌۭ ۖ
ṣāḥibatun
a companion
وَخَلَقَ
wakhalaqa
and He created
كُلَّ
kulla
every
شَىْءٍۢ ۖ
shayin
thing
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
And He
بِكُلِّ
bikulli
(is) of every
شَىْءٍ
shayin
thing
عَلِيمٌۭ
ʿalīmun
All-Knower
ذَٲلِكُمُ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّكُمْۖ لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَۖ خَـٰلِقُ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ فَٱعْبُدُوهُۚ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ وَكِيلٌ ﴿١٠٢﴾
كلمة بكلمة
ذَٰلِكُمُ
dhālikumu
That
ٱللَّهُ
l-lahu
(is) Allah
رَبُّكُمْ ۖ
rabbukum
your Lord
لَآ
lā
(there is) no
إِلَـٰهَ
ilāha
god
إِلَّا
illā
except
هُوَ ۖ
huwa
Him
خَـٰلِقُ
khāliqu
(the) Creator
كُلِّ
kulli
(of) every
شَىْءٍۢ
shayin
thing
فَٱعْبُدُوهُ ۚ
fa-uʿ'budūhu
so worship Him
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
And He
عَلَىٰ
ʿalā
(is) on
كُلِّ
kulli
every
شَىْءٍۢ
shayin
thing
وَكِيلٌۭ
wakīlun
a Guardian
لَّا تُدْرِكُهُ ٱلْأَبْصَـٰرُ وَهُوَ يُدْرِكُ ٱلْأَبْصَـٰرَۖ وَهُوَ ٱللَّطِيفُ ٱلْخَبِيرُ ﴿١٠٣﴾
كلمة بكلمة
لَّا
lā
Not (can)
تُدْرِكُهُ
tud'rikuhu
grasp Him
ٱلْأَبْصَـٰرُ
l-abṣāru
the visions
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
but He
يُدْرِكُ
yud'riku
(can) grasp
ٱلْأَبْصَـٰرَ ۖ
l-abṣāra
(all) the vision
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
and He (is)
ٱللَّطِيفُ
l-laṭīfu
the All-Subtle
ٱلْخَبِيرُ
l-khabīru
the All-Aware
قَدْ جَآءَكُم بَصَآئِرُ مِن رَّبِّكُمْۖ فَمَنْ أَبْصَرَ فَلِنَفْسِهِۦۖ وَمَنْ عَمِىَ فَعَلَيْهَاۚ وَمَآ أَنَا۟ عَلَيْكُم بِحَفِيظٍ ﴿١٠٤﴾
كلمة بكلمة
قَدْ
qad
Verily
جَآءَكُم
jāakum
has come to you
بَصَآئِرُ
baṣāiru
enlightenment
مِن
min
from
رَّبِّكُمْ ۖ
rabbikum
your Lord
فَمَنْ
faman
Then whoever
أَبْصَرَ
abṣara
sees
فَلِنَفْسِهِۦ ۖ
falinafsihi
then (it is) for his soul
وَمَنْ
waman
and whoever
عَمِىَ
ʿamiya
(is) blind
فَعَلَيْهَا ۚ
faʿalayhā
then (it is) against himself
وَمَآ
wamā
And not
أَنَا۠
anā
(am) I
عَلَيْكُم
ʿalaykum
over you
بِحَفِيظٍۢ
biḥafīẓin
a guardian
وَكَذَٲلِكَ نُصَرِّفُ ٱلْأَيَـٰتِ وَلِيَقُولُواْ دَرَسْتَ وَلِنُبَيِّنَهُۥ لِقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ ﴿١٠٥﴾
كلمة بكلمة
وَكَذَٰلِكَ
wakadhālika
And thus
نُصَرِّفُ
nuṣarrifu
We explain
ٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِ
l-āyāti
the Signs
وَلِيَقُولُوا۟
waliyaqūlū
that they (may) say
دَرَسْتَ
darasta
You have studied
وَلِنُبَيِّنَهُۥ
walinubayyinahu
and that We (may) make it clear
لِقَوْمٍۢ
liqawmin
for a people
يَعْلَمُونَ
yaʿlamūna
who know
ٱتَّبِعْ مَآ أُوحِىَ إِلَيْكَ مِن رَّبِّكَۖ لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَۖ وَأَعْرِضْ عَنِ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ ﴿١٠٦﴾

ٱتَّبِعْ
ittabiʿ
Follow
مَآ
mā
what
أُوحِىَ
ūḥiya
has been inspired
إِلَيْكَ
ilayka
to you
مِن
min
from
رَّبِّكَ ۖ
rabbika
your Lord
لَآ
lā
(there is) no
إِلَـٰهَ
ilāha
god
إِلَّا
illā
except
هُوَ ۖ
huwa
Him
وَأَعْرِضْ
wa-aʿriḍ
and turn away
عَنِ
ʿani
from
ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ
l-mush'rikīna
the polytheists
وَلَوْ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ مَآ أَشْرَكُواْۗ وَمَا جَعَلْنَـٰكَ عَلَيْهِمْ حَفِيظًاۖ وَمَآ أَنتَ عَلَيْهِم بِوَكِيلٍ ﴿١٠٧﴾

وَلَوْ
walaw
And if
شَآءَ
shāa
(had) willed
ٱللَّهُ
l-lahu
Allah
مَآ
mā
not (they would have)
أَشْرَكُوا۟ ۗ
ashrakū
associated partners (with Him)
وَمَا
wamā
And not
جَعَلْنَـٰكَ
jaʿalnāka
We have made you
عَلَيْهِمْ
ʿalayhim
over them
حَفِيظًۭا ۖ
ḥafīẓan
a guardian
وَمَآ
wamā
and not
أَنتَ
anta
you
عَلَيْهِم
ʿalayhim
(are) over them
بِوَكِيلٍۢ
biwakīlin
a manager
وَلَا تَسُبُّواْ ٱلَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ فَيَسُبُّواْ ٱللَّهَ عَدْوَۢا بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍۗ كَذَٲلِكَ زَيَّنَّا لِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ عَمَلَهُمْ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِم مَّرْجِعُهُمْ فَيُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا كَانُواْ يَعْمَلُونَ ﴿١٠٨﴾

وَلَا
walā
And (do) not
تَسُبُّوا۟
tasubbū
insult
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīna
those whom
يَدْعُونَ
yadʿūna
they invoke
مِن
min
from
دُونِ
dūni
other than
ٱللَّهِ
l-lahi
Allah
فَيَسُبُّوا۟
fayasubbū
lest they insult
ٱللَّهَ
l-laha
Allah
عَدْوًۢا
ʿadwan
(in) enmity
بِغَيْرِ
bighayri
without
عِلْمٍۢ ۗ
ʿil'min
knowledge
كَذَٰلِكَ
kadhālika
Thus
زَيَّنَّا
zayyannā
We have made fair-seeming
لِكُلِّ
likulli
to every
أُمَّةٍ
ummatin
community
عَمَلَهُمْ
ʿamalahum
their deed
ثُمَّ
thumma
Then
إِلَىٰ
ilā
to
رَبِّهِم
rabbihim
their Lord
مَّرْجِعُهُمْ
marjiʿuhum
(is) their return
فَيُنَبِّئُهُم
fayunabbi-uhum
then He will inform them
بِمَا
bimā
about what
كَانُوا۟
kānū
they used to
يَعْمَلُونَ
yaʿmalūna
do
وَأَقْسَمُواْ بِٱللَّهِ جَهْدَ أَيْمَـٰنِهِمْ لَئِن جَآءَتْهُمْ ءَايَةٌ لَّيُؤْمِنُنَّ بِهَاۚ قُلْ إِنَّمَا ٱلْأَيَـٰتُ عِندَ ٱللَّهِۖ وَمَا يُشْعِرُكُمْ أَنَّهَآ إِذَا جَآءَتْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ ﴿١٠٩﴾

وَأَقْسَمُوا۟
wa-aqsamū
And they swear
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi
by Allah
جَهْدَ
jahda
strongest
أَيْمَـٰنِهِمْ
aymānihim
(of) their oaths
لَئِن
la-in
that if
جَآءَتْهُمْ
jāathum
came to them
ءَايَةٌۭ
āyatun
a sign
لَّيُؤْمِنُنَّ
layu'minunna
they would surely believe
بِهَا ۚ
bihā
in it
قُلْ
qul
Say
إِنَّمَا
innamā
Only
ٱلْـَٔايَـٰتُ
l-āyātu
the signs
عِندَ
ʿinda
(are) with
ٱللَّهِ ۖ
l-lahi
Allah
وَمَا
wamā
And what
يُشْعِرُكُمْ
yush'ʿirukum
will make you perceive
أَنَّهَآ
annahā
that [it]
إِذَا
idhā
when
جَآءَتْ
jāat
it comes
لَا
lā
not
يُؤْمِنُونَ
yu'minūna
they will believe
وَنُقَلِّبُ أَفْــِٔدَتَهُمْ وَأَبْصَـٰرَهُمْ كَمَا لَمْ يُؤْمِنُواْ بِهِۦٓ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ وَنَذَرُهُمْ فِى طُغْيَـٰنِهِمْ يَعْمَهُونَ ﴿١١٠﴾
كلمة بكلمة
وَنُقَلِّبُ
wanuqallibu
And We will turn
أَفْـِٔدَتَهُمْ
afidatahum
their hearts
وَأَبْصَـٰرَهُمْ
wa-abṣārahum
and their sights
كَمَا
kamā
(just) as
لَمْ
lam
not
يُؤْمِنُوا۟
yu'minū
they believe
بِهِۦٓ
bihi
in it
أَوَّلَ
awwala
(the) first
مَرَّةٍۢ
marratin
time
وَنَذَرُهُمْ
wanadharuhum
And We will leave them
فِى
fī
in
طُغْيَـٰنِهِمْ
ṭugh'yānihim
their transgression
يَعْمَهُونَ
yaʿmahūna
wandering blindly
۞ وَلَوْ أَنَّنَا نَزَّلْنَآ إِلَيْهِمُ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةَ وَكَلَّمَهُمُ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ وَحَشَرْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ قُبُلاً مَّا كَانُواْ لِيُؤْمِنُوٓاْ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ ٱللَّهُ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ يَجْهَلُونَ ﴿١١١﴾

۞ وَلَوْ
walaw
And (even) if
أَنَّنَا
annanā
[that] We (had)
نَزَّلْنَآ
nazzalnā
[We] sent down
إِلَيْهِمُ
ilayhimu
to them
ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةَ
l-malāikata
the Angels
وَكَلَّمَهُمُ
wakallamahumu
and spoken to them
ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ
l-mawtā
the dead
وَحَشَرْنَا
waḥasharnā
and We gathered
عَلَيْهِمْ
ʿalayhim
before them
كُلَّ
kulla
every
شَىْءٍۢ
shayin
thing
قُبُلًۭا
qubulan
face to face
مَّا
mā
not
كَانُوا۟
kānū
they were
لِيُؤْمِنُوٓا۟
liyu'minū
to believe
إِلَّآ
illā
unless
أَن
an
[that]
يَشَآءَ
yashāa
wills
ٱللَّهُ
l-lahu
Allah
وَلَـٰكِنَّ
walākinna
But
أَكْثَرَهُمْ
aktharahum
most of them
يَجْهَلُونَ
yajhalūna
(are) ignorant
وَكَذَٲلِكَ جَعَلْنَا لِكُلِّ نَبِىٍّ عَدُوًّا شَيَـٰطِينَ ٱلْإِنسِ وَٱلْجِنِّ يُوحِى بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَىٰ بَعْضٍ زُخْرُفَ ٱلْقَوْلِ غُرُورًاۚ وَلَوْ شَآءَ رَبُّكَ مَا فَعَلُوهُۖ فَذَرْهُمْ وَمَا يَفْتَرُونَ ﴿١١٢﴾

وَكَذَٰلِكَ
wakadhālika
And thus
جَعَلْنَا
jaʿalnā
We made
لِكُلِّ
likulli
for every
نَبِىٍّ
nabiyyin
Prophet
عَدُوًّۭا
ʿaduwwan
an enemy
شَيَـٰطِينَ
shayāṭīna
devils
ٱلْإِنسِ
l-insi
(from) the mankind
وَٱلْجِنِّ
wal-jini
and the jinn
يُوحِى
yūḥī
inspiring
بَعْضُهُمْ
baʿḍuhum
some of them
إِلَىٰ
ilā
to
بَعْضٍۢ
baʿḍin
others
زُخْرُفَ
zukh'rufa
(with) decorative
ٱلْقَوْلِ
l-qawli
[the] speech
غُرُورًۭا ۚ
ghurūran
(in) deception
وَلَوْ
walaw
But if
شَآءَ
shāa
(had) willed
رَبُّكَ
rabbuka
your Lord
مَا
mā
not
فَعَلُوهُ ۖ
faʿalūhu
they (would) have done it
فَذَرْهُمْ
fadharhum
so leave them
وَمَا
wamā
and what
يَفْتَرُونَ
yaftarūna
they invent
وَلِتَصْغَىٰٓ إِلَيْهِ أَفْــِٔدَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱلْأَخِرَةِ وَلِيَرْضَوْهُ وَلِيَقْتَرِفُواْ مَا هُم مُّقْتَرِفُونَ ﴿١١٣﴾

وَلِتَصْغَىٰٓ
walitaṣghā
And so that incline
إِلَيْهِ
ilayhi
to it
أَفْـِٔدَةُ
afidatu
hearts
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīna
(of) those who
لَا
lā
(do) not
يُؤْمِنُونَ
yu'minūna
believe
بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ
bil-ākhirati
in the Hereafter
وَلِيَرْضَوْهُ
waliyarḍawhu
and so that they may be pleased with it
وَلِيَقْتَرِفُوا۟
waliyaqtarifū
and so that they may commit
مَا
mā
what
هُم
hum
they
مُّقْتَرِفُونَ
muq'tarifūna
(are) committing
أَفَغَيْرَ ٱللَّهِ أَبْتَغِى حَكَمًا وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنزَلَ إِلَيْكُمُ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ مُفَصَّلاًۚ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَاتَيْنَـٰهُمُ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ يَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّهُۥ مُنَزَّلٌ مِّن رَّبِّكَ بِٱلْحَقِّۖ فَلَا تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلْمُمْتَرِينَ ﴿١١٤﴾

أَفَغَيْرَ
afaghayra
Then is (it) other than
ٱللَّهِ
l-lahi
Allah
أَبْتَغِى
abtaghī
I seek
حَكَمًۭا
ḥakaman
(as) judge
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
while He
ٱلَّذِىٓ
alladhī
(is) the One Who
أَنزَلَ
anzala
has revealed
إِلَيْكُمُ
ilaykumu
to you
ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ
l-kitāba
the Book
مُفَصَّلًۭا ۚ
mufaṣṣalan
explained in detail
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhīna
And those (to) whom
ءَاتَيْنَـٰهُمُ
ātaynāhumu
We gave them
ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ
l-kitāba
the Book
يَعْلَمُونَ
yaʿlamūna
they know
أَنَّهُۥ
annahu
that it
مُنَزَّلٌۭ
munazzalun
(is) sent down
مِّن
min
from
رَّبِّكَ
rabbika
your Lord
بِٱلْحَقِّ ۖ
bil-ḥaqi
in truth
فَلَا
falā
so (do) not
تَكُونَنَّ
takūnanna
be
مِنَ
mina
among
ٱلْمُمْتَرِينَ
l-mum'tarīna
the ones who doubt
وَتَمَّتْ كَلِمَتُ رَبِّكَ صِدْقًا وَعَدْلاًۚ لَّا مُبَدِّلَ لِكَلِمَـٰتِهِۦۚ وَهُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ ﴿١١٥﴾
كلمة بكلمة
وَتَمَّتْ
watammat
And (has been) fulfilled
كَلِمَتُ
kalimatu
(the) word
رَبِّكَ
rabbika
(of) your Lord
صِدْقًۭا
ṣid'qan
(in) truth
وَعَدْلًۭا ۚ
waʿadlan
and justice
لَّا
lā
No
مُبَدِّلَ
mubaddila
one can change
لِكَلِمَـٰتِهِۦ ۚ
likalimātihi
His words
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
and He
ٱلسَّمِيعُ
l-samīʿu
(is) the All-Hearer
ٱلْعَلِيمُ
l-ʿalīmu
the All-Knower
وَإِن تُطِعْ أَكْثَرَ مَن فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ يُضِلُّوكَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِۚ إِن يَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا ٱلظَّنَّ وَإِنْ هُمْ إِلَّا يَخْرُصُونَ ﴿١١٦﴾

وَإِن
wa-in
And if
تُطِعْ
tuṭiʿ
you obey
أَكْثَرَ
akthara
most
مَن
man
of
فِى
fī
(those) in
ٱلْأَرْضِ
l-arḍi
the earth
يُضِلُّوكَ
yuḍillūka
they will mislead you
عَن
ʿan
from
سَبِيلِ
sabīli
(the) way
ٱللَّهِ ۚ
l-lahi
(of) Allah
إِن
in
Not
يَتَّبِعُونَ
yattabiʿūna
they follow
إِلَّا
illā
except
ٱلظَّنَّ
l-ẓana
[the] assumption
وَإِنْ
wa-in
and not
هُمْ
hum
they (do)
إِلَّا
illā
except
يَخْرُصُونَ
yakhruṣūna
guess
إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ مَن يَضِلُّ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦۖ وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِٱلْمُهْتَدِينَ ﴿١١٧﴾

إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
رَبَّكَ
rabbaka
your Lord
هُوَ
huwa
He
أَعْلَمُ
aʿlamu
knows best
مَن
man
who
يَضِلُّ
yaḍillu
strays
عَن
ʿan
from
سَبِيلِهِۦ ۖ
sabīlihi
His way
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
and He
أَعْلَمُ
aʿlamu
(is) most knowing
بِٱلْمُهْتَدِينَ
bil-muh'tadīna
of the guided-ones
فَكُلُواْ مِمَّا ذُكِرَ ٱسْمُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ إِن كُنتُم بِـَٔـايَـٰتِهِۦ مُؤْمِنِينَ ﴿١١٨﴾

فَكُلُوا۟
fakulū
So eat
مِمَّا
mimmā
of what
ذُكِرَ
dhukira
(is) mentioned
ٱسْمُ
us'mu
(the) name
ٱللَّهِ
l-lahi
(of) Allah
عَلَيْهِ
ʿalayhi
on it
إِن
in
if
كُنتُم
kuntum
you are
بِـَٔايَـٰتِهِۦ
biāyātihi
in His Verses
مُؤْمِنِينَ
mu'minīna
believers
وَمَا لَكُمْ أَلَّا تَأْكُلُواْ مِمَّا ذُكِرَ ٱسْمُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَقَدْ فَصَّلَ لَكُم مَّا حَرَّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ إِلَّا مَا ٱضْطُرِرْتُمْ إِلَيْهِۗ وَإِنَّ كَثِيرًا لَّيُضِلُّونَ بِأَهْوَآئِهِم بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍۗ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِٱلْمُعْتَدِينَ ﴿١١٩﴾

وَمَا
wamā
And what
لَكُمْ
lakum
for you
أَلَّا
allā
that not
تَأْكُلُوا۟
takulū
you eat
مِمَّا
mimmā
of what
ذُكِرَ
dhukira
has been mentioned
ٱسْمُ
us'mu
(the) name
ٱللَّهِ
l-lahi
(of) Allah
عَلَيْهِ
ʿalayhi
on it
وَقَدْ
waqad
when indeed
فَصَّلَ
faṣṣala
He (has) explained in detail
لَكُم
lakum
to you
مَّا
mā
what
حَرَّمَ
ḥarrama
He (has) forbidden
عَلَيْكُمْ
ʿalaykum
to you
إِلَّا
illā
except
مَا
mā
what
ٱضْطُرِرْتُمْ
uḍ'ṭurir'tum
you are compelled
إِلَيْهِ ۗ
ilayhi
to it
وَإِنَّ
wa-inna
And indeed
كَثِيرًۭا
kathīran
many
لَّيُضِلُّونَ
layuḍillūna
surely lead astray
بِأَهْوَآئِهِم
bi-ahwāihim
by their (vain) desires
بِغَيْرِ
bighayri
without
عِلْمٍ ۗ
ʿil'min
knowledge
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
رَبَّكَ
rabbaka
your Lord
هُوَ
huwa
He
أَعْلَمُ
aʿlamu
(is) most knowing
بِٱلْمُعْتَدِينَ
bil-muʿ'tadīna
of the transgressors
وَذَرُواْ ظَـٰهِرَ ٱلْإِثْمِ وَبَاطِنَهُۥٓۚ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَكْسِبُونَ ٱلْإِثْمَ سَيُجْزَوْنَ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَقْتَرِفُونَ ﴿١٢٠﴾

وَذَرُوا۟
wadharū
Forsake
ظَـٰهِرَ
ẓāhira
open
ٱلْإِثْمِ
l-ith'mi
[the] sins
وَبَاطِنَهُۥٓ ۚ
wabāṭinahu
and the secret
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīna
those who
يَكْسِبُونَ
yaksibūna
earn
ٱلْإِثْمَ
l-ith'ma
[the] sin
سَيُجْزَوْنَ
sayuj'zawna
they will be recompensed
بِمَا
bimā
for what
كَانُوا۟
kānū
they used to
يَقْتَرِفُونَ
yaqtarifūna
commit
وَلَا تَأْكُلُواْ مِمَّا لَمْ يُذْكَرِ ٱسْمُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَإِنَّهُۥ لَفِسْقٌۗ وَإِنَّ ٱلشَّيَـٰطِينَ لَيُوحُونَ إِلَىٰٓ أَوْلِيَآئِهِمْ لِيُجَـٰدِلُوكُمْۖ وَإِنْ أَطَعْتُمُوهُمْ إِنَّكُمْ لَمُشْرِكُونَ ﴿١٢١﴾

وَلَا
walā
And (do) not
تَأْكُلُوا۟
takulū
eat
مِمَّا
mimmā
of that
لَمْ
lam
not
يُذْكَرِ
yudh'kari
has been mentioned
ٱسْمُ
us'mu
(the) name
ٱللَّهِ
l-lahi
(of) Allah
عَلَيْهِ
ʿalayhi
on it
وَإِنَّهُۥ
wa-innahu
and indeed, it (is)
لَفِسْقٌۭ ۗ
lafis'qun
grave disobedience
وَإِنَّ
wa-inna
And indeed
ٱلشَّيَـٰطِينَ
l-shayāṭīna
the devils
لَيُوحُونَ
layūḥūna
inspire
إِلَىٰٓ
ilā
to
أَوْلِيَآئِهِمْ
awliyāihim
their friends
لِيُجَـٰدِلُوكُمْ ۖ
liyujādilūkum
so that they dispute with you
وَإِنْ
wa-in
and if
أَطَعْتُمُوهُمْ
aṭaʿtumūhum
you obey them
إِنَّكُمْ
innakum
indeed, you
لَمُشْرِكُونَ
lamush'rikūna
(would) be the polytheists
أَوَمَن كَانَ مَيْتًا فَأَحْيَيْنَـٰهُ وَجَعَلْنَا لَهُۥ نُورًا يَمْشِى بِهِۦ فِى ٱلنَّاسِ كَمَن مَّثَلُهُۥ فِى ٱلظُّلُمَـٰتِ لَيْسَ بِخَارِجٍ مِّنْهَاۚ كَذَٲلِكَ زُيِّنَ لِلْكَـٰفِرِينَ مَا كَانُواْ يَعْمَلُونَ ﴿١٢٢﴾

أَوَمَن
awaman
Is (one) who
كَانَ
kāna
was
مَيْتًۭا
maytan
dead
فَأَحْيَيْنَـٰهُ
fa-aḥyaynāhu
and We gave him life
وَجَعَلْنَا
wajaʿalnā
and We made
لَهُۥ
lahu
for him
نُورًۭا
nūran
light
يَمْشِى
yamshī
he walks
بِهِۦ
bihi
whereby
فِى
fī
among
ٱلنَّاسِ
l-nāsi
the people
كَمَن
kaman
like (one) who
مَّثَلُهُۥ
mathaluhu
[similar to him]
فِى
fī
(is) in
ٱلظُّلُمَـٰتِ
l-ẓulumāti
the darknesses
لَيْسَ
laysa
not
بِخَارِجٍۢ
bikhārijin
he comes out
مِّنْهَا ۚ
min'hā
of it
كَذَٰلِكَ
kadhālika
Thus
زُيِّنَ
zuyyina
is made fair-seeming
لِلْكَـٰفِرِينَ
lil'kāfirīna
to the disbelievers
مَا
mā
what
كَانُوا۟
kānū
they were
يَعْمَلُونَ
yaʿmalūna
doing
وَكَذَٲلِكَ جَعَلْنَا فِى كُلِّ قَرْيَةٍ أَكَـٰبِرَ مُجْرِمِيهَا لِيَمْكُرُواْ فِيهَاۖ وَمَا يَمْكُرُونَ إِلَّا بِأَنفُسِهِمْ وَمَا يَشْعُرُونَ ﴿١٢٣﴾

وَكَذَٰلِكَ
wakadhālika
And thus
جَعَلْنَا
jaʿalnā
We placed
فِى
fī
in
كُلِّ
kulli
every
قَرْيَةٍ
qaryatin
city
أَكَـٰبِرَ
akābira
greatest
مُجْرِمِيهَا
muj'rimīhā
(of) its criminals
لِيَمْكُرُوا۟
liyamkurū
so that they plot
فِيهَا ۖ
fīhā
therein
وَمَا
wamā
And not
يَمْكُرُونَ
yamkurūna
they plot
إِلَّا
illā
except
بِأَنفُسِهِمْ
bi-anfusihim
against themselves
وَمَا
wamā
and not
يَشْعُرُونَ
yashʿurūna
they perceive
وَإِذَا جَآءَتْهُمْ ءَايَةٌ قَالُواْ لَن نُّؤْمِنَ حَتَّىٰ نُؤْتَىٰ مِثْلَ مَآ أُوتِىَ رُسُلُ ٱللَّهِۘ ٱللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ حَيْثُ يَجْعَلُ رِسَالَتَهُۥۗ سَيُصِيبُ ٱلَّذِينَ أَجْرَمُواْ صَغَارٌ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ وَعَذَابٌ شَدِيدُۢ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَمْكُرُونَ ﴿١٢٤﴾

وَإِذَا
wa-idhā
And when
جَآءَتْهُمْ
jāathum
comes to them
ءَايَةٌۭ
āyatun
a Sign
قَالُوا۟
qālū
they say
لَن
lan
Never
نُّؤْمِنَ
nu'mina
we will believe
حَتَّىٰ
ḥattā
until
نُؤْتَىٰ
nu'tā
we are given
مِثْلَ
mith'la
like
مَآ
mā
what
أُوتِىَ
ūtiya
was given
رُسُلُ
rusulu
(to the) Messengers
ٱللَّهِ ۘ
l-lahi
(of) Allah
ٱللَّهُ
l-lahu
Allah
أَعْلَمُ
aʿlamu
knows best
حَيْثُ
ḥaythu
where
يَجْعَلُ
yajʿalu
He places
رِسَالَتَهُۥ ۗ
risālatahu
His Message
سَيُصِيبُ
sayuṣību
Will afflict
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīna
those who
أَجْرَمُوا۟
ajramū
committed crimes
صَغَارٌ
ṣaghārun
a humiliation
عِندَ
ʿinda
from
ٱللَّهِ
l-lahi
Allah
وَعَذَابٌۭ
waʿadhābun
and a punishment
شَدِيدٌۢ
shadīdun
severe
بِمَا
bimā
for what
كَانُوا۟
kānū
they used to
يَمْكُرُونَ
yamkurūna
plot
فَمَن يُرِدِ ٱللَّهُ أَن يَهْدِيَهُۥ يَشْرَحْ صَدْرَهُۥ لِلْإِسْلَـٰمِۖ وَمَن يُرِدْ أَن يُضِلَّهُۥ يَجْعَلْ صَدْرَهُۥ ضَيِّقًا حَرَجًا كَأَنَّمَا يَصَّعَّدُ فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِۚ كَذَٲلِكَ يَجْعَلُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلرِّجْسَ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ ﴿١٢٥﴾

فَمَن
faman
So whoever
يُرِدِ
yuridi
wants
ٱللَّهُ
l-lahu
Allah
أَن
an
that
يَهْدِيَهُۥ
yahdiyahu
He guides him
يَشْرَحْ
yashraḥ
He expands
صَدْرَهُۥ
ṣadrahu
his breast
لِلْإِسْلَـٰمِ ۖ
lil'is'lāmi
to Islam
وَمَن
waman
and whoever
يُرِدْ
yurid
He wants
أَن
an
that
يُضِلَّهُۥ
yuḍillahu
He lets him go astray
يَجْعَلْ
yajʿal
He makes
صَدْرَهُۥ
ṣadrahu
his breast
ضَيِّقًا
ḍayyiqan
tight
حَرَجًۭا
ḥarajan
and constricted
كَأَنَّمَا
ka-annamā
as though
يَصَّعَّدُ
yaṣṣaʿʿadu
he (were) climbing
فِى
fī
into
ٱلسَّمَآءِ ۚ
l-samāi
the sky
كَذَٰلِكَ
kadhālika
Thus
يَجْعَلُ
yajʿalu
places
ٱللَّهُ
l-lahu
Allah
ٱلرِّجْسَ
l-rij'sa
the filth
عَلَى
ʿalā
on
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīna
those who
لَا
lā
(do) not
يُؤْمِنُونَ
yu'minūna
believe
