الأنعام

وَأَنذِرْ

wa-andhir

And warn

بِهِ

bihi

with it

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhīna

those who

يَخَافُونَ

yakhāfūna

fear

أَن

an

that

يُحْشَرُوٓا۟

yuḥ'sharū

they will be gathered

إِلَىٰ

ilā

to

رَبِّهِمْ ۙ

rabbihim

their Lord

لَيْسَ

laysa

not

لَهُم

lahum

for them

مِّن

min

of

دُونِهِۦ

dūnihi

other than Him

وَلِىٌّۭ

waliyyun

any protector

وَلَا

walā

and not

شَفِيعٌۭ

shafīʿun

any intercessor

لَّعَلَّهُمْ

laʿallahum

so that they may

يَتَّقُونَ

yattaqūna

(become) righteous

وَلَا

walā

And (do) not

تَطْرُدِ

taṭrudi

send away

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhīna

those who

يَدْعُونَ

yadʿūna

call

رَبَّهُم

rabbahum

their Lord

بِٱلْغَدَوٰةِ

bil-ghadati

in the morning

وَٱلْعَشِىِّ

wal-ʿashiyi

and the evening

يُرِيدُونَ

yurīdūna

desiring

وَجْهَهُۥ ۖ

wajhahu

His Countenance

مَا

mā

Not

عَلَيْكَ

ʿalayka

(is) on you

مِنْ

min

of

حِسَابِهِم

ḥisābihim

their account

مِّن

min

[of]

شَىْءٍۢ

shayin

anything

وَمَا

wamā

and not

مِنْ

min

from

حِسَابِكَ

ḥisābika

your account

عَلَيْهِم

ʿalayhim

on them

مِّن

min

[of]

شَىْءٍۢ

shayin

anything

فَتَطْرُدَهُمْ

fataṭrudahum

So were you to send them away

فَتَكُونَ

fatakūna

then you would be

مِنَ

mina

of

ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ

l-ẓālimīna

the wrongdoers

وَكَذَٰلِكَ

wakadhālika

And thus

فَتَنَّا

fatannā

We try

بَعْضَهُم

baʿḍahum

some of them

بِبَعْضٍۢ

bibaʿḍin

with others

لِّيَقُولُوٓا۟

liyaqūlū

that they say

أَهَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ

ahāulāi

Are these

مَنَّ

manna

(whom has been) favored

ٱللَّهُ

l-lahu

(by) Allah

عَلَيْهِم

ʿalayhim

[upon them]

مِّنۢ

min

from

بَيْنِنَآ ۗ

bayninā

among us

أَلَيْسَ

alaysa

is not

ٱللَّهُ

l-lahu

Allah

بِأَعْلَمَ

bi-aʿlama

most knowing

بِٱلشَّـٰكِرِينَ

bil-shākirīna

of those who are grateful

وَإِذَا

wa-idhā

And when

جَآءَكَ

jāaka

come to you

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhīna

those who

يُؤْمِنُونَ

yu'minūna

believe

بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا

biāyātinā

in Our Verses

فَقُلْ

faqul

then say

سَلَـٰمٌ

salāmun

Peace

عَلَيْكُمْ ۖ

ʿalaykum

(be) upon you

كَتَبَ

kataba

(Has) Prescribed

رَبُّكُمْ

rabbukum

your Lord

عَلَىٰ

ʿalā

upon

نَفْسِهِ

nafsihi

Himself

ٱلرَّحْمَةَ ۖ

l-raḥmata

the Mercy

أَنَّهُۥ

annahu

that he

مَنْ

man

who

عَمِلَ

ʿamila

does

مِنكُمْ

minkum

among you

سُوٓءًۢا

sūan

evil

بِجَهَـٰلَةٍۢ

bijahālatin

in ignorance

ثُمَّ

thumma

then

تَابَ

tāba

repents

مِنۢ

min

from

بَعْدِهِۦ

baʿdihi

after it

وَأَصْلَحَ

wa-aṣlaḥa

and reforms

فَأَنَّهُۥ

fa-annahu

then, indeed He

غَفُورٌۭ

ghafūrun

(is) Oft-Forgiving

رَّحِيمٌۭ

raḥīmun

Most Merciful

وَكَذَٰلِكَ

wakadhālika

And thus

نُفَصِّلُ

nufaṣṣilu

We explain

ٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِ

l-āyāti

the Verses

وَلِتَسْتَبِينَ

walitastabīna

so that becomes manifest

سَبِيلُ

sabīlu

(the) way

ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ

l-muj'rimīna

(of) the criminals

قُلْ

qul

Say

إِنِّى

innī

Indeed I

نُهِيتُ

nuhītu

[I] am forbidden

أَنْ

an

that

أَعْبُدَ

aʿbuda

I worship

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhīna

those whom

تَدْعُونَ

tadʿūna

you call

مِن

min

from

دُونِ

dūni

besides

ٱللَّهِ ۚ

l-lahi

Allah

قُل

qul

Say

لَّآ

lā

Not

أَتَّبِعُ

attabiʿu

I follow

أَهْوَآءَكُمْ ۙ

ahwāakum

your (vain) desires

قَدْ

qad

certainly

ضَلَلْتُ

ḍalaltu

I would go astray

إِذًۭا

idhan

then

وَمَآ

wamā

and not

أَنَا۠

anā

I (would be)

مِنَ

mina

from

ٱلْمُهْتَدِينَ

l-muh'tadīna

the guided-ones

قُلْ

qul

Say

إِنِّى

innī

Indeed, I (am)

عَلَىٰ

ʿalā

on

بَيِّنَةٍۢ

bayyinatin

clear proof

مِّن

min

from

رَّبِّى

rabbī

my Lord

وَكَذَّبْتُم

wakadhabtum

while you deny

بِهِۦ ۚ

bihi

[with] it

مَا

mā

Not

عِندِى

ʿindī

I have

مَا

mā

what

تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ

tastaʿjilūna

you seek to hasten

بِهِۦٓ ۚ

bihi

of it

إِنِ

ini

Not

ٱلْحُكْمُ

l-ḥuk'mu

(is) the decision

إِلَّا

illā

except

لِلَّهِ ۖ

lillahi

for Allah

يَقُصُّ

yaquṣṣu

He relates

ٱلْحَقَّ ۖ

l-ḥaqa

the truth

وَهُوَ

wahuwa

and He

خَيْرُ

khayru

(is the) best

ٱلْفَـٰصِلِينَ

l-fāṣilīna

(of) the Deciders

قُل

qul

Say

لَّوْ

law

If

أَنَّ

anna

that

عِندِى

ʿindī

(were) with me

مَا

mā

what

تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ

tastaʿjilūna

you seek to hasten

بِهِۦ

bihi

of it

لَقُضِىَ

laquḍiya

surely would have been decided

ٱلْأَمْرُ

l-amru

the matter

بَيْنِى

baynī

between me

وَبَيْنَكُمْ ۗ

wabaynakum

and between you

وَٱللَّهُ

wal-lahu

And Allah

أَعْلَمُ

aʿlamu

(is) most knowing

بِٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ

bil-ẓālimīna

of the wrongdoers

۞ وَعِندَهُۥ

waʿindahu

And with Him

مَفَاتِحُ

mafātiḥu

(are the) keys

ٱلْغَيْبِ

l-ghaybi

(of) the unseen

لَا

lā

no (one)

يَعْلَمُهَآ

yaʿlamuhā

knows them

إِلَّا

illā

except

هُوَ ۚ

huwa

Him

وَيَعْلَمُ

wayaʿlamu

And He knows

مَا

mā

what

فِى

fī

(is) in

ٱلْبَرِّ

l-bari

the land

وَٱلْبَحْرِ ۚ

wal-baḥri

and in the sea

وَمَا

wamā

And not

تَسْقُطُ

tasquṭu

falls

مِن

min

of

وَرَقَةٍ

waraqatin

any leaf

إِلَّا

illā

but

يَعْلَمُهَا

yaʿlamuhā

He knows it

وَلَا

walā

And not

حَبَّةٍۢ

ḥabbatin

a grain

فِى

fī

in

ظُلُمَـٰتِ

ẓulumāti

the darkness[es]

ٱلْأَرْضِ

l-arḍi

(of) the earth

وَلَا

walā

and not

رَطْبٍۢ

raṭbin

moist

وَلَا

walā

and not

يَابِسٍ

yābisin

dry

إِلَّا

illā

but

فِى

fī

(is) in

كِتَـٰبٍۢ

kitābin

a Record

مُّبِينٍۢ

mubīnin

Clear

وَهُوَ

wahuwa

And He

ٱلَّذِى

alladhī

(is) the One Who

يَتَوَفَّىٰكُم

yatawaffākum

takes your (soul)

بِٱلَّيْلِ

bi-al-layli

by the night

وَيَعْلَمُ

wayaʿlamu

and He knows

مَا

mā

what

جَرَحْتُم

jaraḥtum

you committed

بِٱلنَّهَارِ

bil-nahāri

by the day

ثُمَّ

thumma

Then

يَبْعَثُكُمْ

yabʿathukum

He raises you up

فِيهِ

fīhi

therein

لِيُقْضَىٰٓ

liyuq'ḍā

so that is fulfilled

أَجَلٌۭ

ajalun

(the) term

مُّسَمًّۭى ۖ

musamman

specified

ثُمَّ

thumma

Then

إِلَيْهِ

ilayhi

to Him

مَرْجِعُكُمْ

marjiʿukum

will be your return

ثُمَّ

thumma

then

يُنَبِّئُكُم

yunabbi-ukum

He will inform you

بِمَا

bimā

about what

كُنتُمْ

kuntum

you used to

تَعْمَلُونَ

taʿmalūna

do

وَهُوَ

wahuwa

And He

ٱلْقَاهِرُ

l-qāhiru

(is) the Subjugator

فَوْقَ

fawqa

over

عِبَادِهِۦ ۖ

ʿibādihi

His slaves

وَيُرْسِلُ

wayur'silu

and He sends

عَلَيْكُمْ

ʿalaykum

over you

حَفَظَةً

ḥafaẓatan

guardians

حَتَّىٰٓ

ḥattā

until

إِذَا

idhā

when

جَآءَ

jāa

comes

أَحَدَكُمُ

aḥadakumu

(to) anyone of you

ٱلْمَوْتُ

l-mawtu

the death

تَوَفَّتْهُ

tawaffathu

take him

رُسُلُنَا

rusulunā

Our messengers

وَهُمْ

wahum

and they

لَا

lā

(do) not

يُفَرِّطُونَ

yufarriṭūna

fail

ثُمَّ

thumma

Then

رُدُّوٓا۟

ruddū

they are returned

إِلَى

ilā

to

ٱللَّهِ

l-lahi

Allah

مَوْلَىٰهُمُ

mawlāhumu

their Protector

ٱلْحَقِّ ۚ

l-ḥaqi

[the] True

أَلَا

alā

Unquestionably

لَهُ

lahu

for Him

ٱلْحُكْمُ

l-ḥuk'mu

(is) the judgment

وَهُوَ

wahuwa

And He

أَسْرَعُ

asraʿu

(is) swiftest

ٱلْحَـٰسِبِينَ

l-ḥāsibīna

(of) the Reckoners

قُلْ

qul

Say

مَن

man

Who

يُنَجِّيكُم

yunajjīkum

saves you

مِّن

min

from

ظُلُمَـٰتِ

ẓulumāti

darkness[es]

ٱلْبَرِّ

l-bari

(of) the land

وَٱلْبَحْرِ

wal-baḥri

and the sea

تَدْعُونَهُۥ

tadʿūnahu

you call Him

تَضَرُّعًۭا

taḍarruʿan

humbly

وَخُفْيَةًۭ

wakhuf'yatan

and secretly

لَّئِنْ

la-in

If

أَنجَىٰنَا

anjānā

He saves us

مِنْ

min

from

هَـٰذِهِۦ

hādhihi

this

لَنَكُونَنَّ

lanakūnanna

surely we will be

مِنَ

mina

from

ٱلشَّـٰكِرِينَ

l-shākirīna

the grateful ones

قُلِ

quli

Say

ٱللَّهُ

l-lahu

Allah

يُنَجِّيكُم

yunajjīkum

saves you

مِّنْهَا

min'hā

from it

وَمِن

wamin

and from

كُلِّ

kulli

every

كَرْبٍۢ

karbin

distress

ثُمَّ

thumma

yet

أَنتُمْ

antum

you

تُشْرِكُونَ

tush'rikūna

associate partners (with Allah)

قُلْ

qul

Say

هُوَ

huwa

He

ٱلْقَادِرُ

l-qādiru

(is) All-Capable

عَلَىٰٓ

ʿalā

[on]

أَن

an

to

يَبْعَثَ

yabʿatha

send

عَلَيْكُمْ

ʿalaykum

upon you

عَذَابًۭا

ʿadhāban

punishment

مِّن

min

from

فَوْقِكُمْ

fawqikum

above you

أَوْ

aw

or

مِن

min

from

تَحْتِ

taḥti

beneath

أَرْجُلِكُمْ

arjulikum

your feet

أَوْ

aw

or

يَلْبِسَكُمْ

yalbisakum

(to) confuse you

شِيَعًۭا

shiyaʿan

(into) sects

وَيُذِيقَ

wayudhīqa

and make (you) taste

بَعْضَكُم

baʿḍakum

some of you

بَأْسَ

basa

violence

بَعْضٍ ۗ

baʿḍin

(of) others

ٱنظُرْ

unẓur

See

كَيْفَ

kayfa

how

نُصَرِّفُ

nuṣarrifu

We explain

ٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِ

l-āyāti

the Signs

لَعَلَّهُمْ

laʿallahum

so that they may

يَفْقَهُونَ

yafqahūna

understand

وَكَذَّبَ

wakadhaba

But denied

بِهِۦ

bihi

it

قَوْمُكَ

qawmuka

your people

وَهُوَ

wahuwa

while it

ٱلْحَقُّ ۚ

l-ḥaqu

(is) the truth

قُل

qul

Say

لَّسْتُ

lastu

I am not

عَلَيْكُم

ʿalaykum

over you

بِوَكِيلٍۢ

biwakīlin

a manager

لِّكُلِّ

likulli

For every

نَبَإٍۢ

naba-in

news

مُّسْتَقَرٌّۭ ۚ

mus'taqarrun

(is) a fixed time

وَسَوْفَ

wasawfa

and soon

تَعْلَمُونَ

taʿlamūna

you will know

وَإِذَا

wa-idhā

And when

رَأَيْتَ

ra-ayta

you see

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhīna

those who

يَخُوضُونَ

yakhūḍūna

engage (in vain talks)

فِىٓ

fī

about

ءَايَـٰتِنَا

āyātinā

Our Verses

فَأَعْرِضْ

fa-aʿriḍ

then turn away

عَنْهُمْ

ʿanhum

from them

حَتَّىٰ

ḥattā

until

يَخُوضُوا۟

yakhūḍū

they engage

فِى

fī

in

حَدِيثٍ

ḥadīthin

a talk

غَيْرِهِۦ ۚ

ghayrihi

other than it

وَإِمَّا

wa-immā

And if

يُنسِيَنَّكَ

yunsiyannaka

causes you to forget

ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُ

l-shayṭānu

the Shaitaan

فَلَا

falā

then (do) not

تَقْعُدْ

taqʿud

sit

بَعْدَ

baʿda

after

ٱلذِّكْرَىٰ

l-dhik'rā

the reminder

مَعَ

maʿa

with

ٱلْقَوْمِ

l-qawmi

the people

ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ

l-ẓālimīna

the wrongdoers

وَمَا

wamā

And not

عَلَى

ʿalā

(is) on

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhīna

those who

يَتَّقُونَ

yattaqūna

fear (Allah)

مِنْ

min

of

حِسَابِهِم

ḥisābihim

their account

مِّن

min

[of]

شَىْءٍۢ

shayin

anything

وَلَـٰكِن

walākin

but

ذِكْرَىٰ

dhik'rā

(for) reminder

لَعَلَّهُمْ

laʿallahum

so that they may

يَتَّقُونَ

yattaqūna

fear (Allah)

وَذَرِ

wadhari

And leave

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhīna

those who

ٱتَّخَذُوا۟

ittakhadhū

take

دِينَهُمْ

dīnahum

their religion

لَعِبًۭا

laʿiban

(as) a play

وَلَهْوًۭا

walahwan

and amusement

وَغَرَّتْهُمُ

wagharrathumu

and deluded them

ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ

l-ḥayatu

the life

ٱلدُّنْيَا ۚ

l-dun'yā

(of) the world

وَذَكِّرْ

wadhakkir

But remind

بِهِۦٓ

bihi

with it

أَن

an

lest

تُبْسَلَ

tub'sala

is given up to destruction

نَفْسٌۢ

nafsun

a soul

بِمَا

bimā

for what

كَسَبَتْ

kasabat

it (has) earned

لَيْسَ

laysa

not

لَهَا

lahā

(is) for it

مِن

min

from

دُونِ

dūni

besides

ٱللَّهِ

l-lahi

Allah

وَلِىٌّۭ

waliyyun

any protector

وَلَا

walā

and not

شَفِيعٌۭ

shafīʿun

any intercessor

وَإِن

wa-in

And if

تَعْدِلْ

taʿdil

it offers ransom

كُلَّ

kulla

every

عَدْلٍۢ

ʿadlin

ransom

لَّا

lā

not

يُؤْخَذْ

yu'khadh

will it be taken

مِنْهَآ ۗ

min'hā

from it

أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ

ulāika

Those

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhīna

(are) ones who

أُبْسِلُوا۟

ub'silū

are given to destruction

بِمَا

bimā

for what

كَسَبُوا۟ ۖ

kasabū

they earned

لَهُمْ

lahum

For them

شَرَابٌۭ

sharābun

(will be) a drink

مِّنْ

min

of

حَمِيمٍۢ

ḥamīmin

boiling water

وَعَذَابٌ

waʿadhābun

and a punishment

أَلِيمٌۢ

alīmun

painful

بِمَا

bimā

because

كَانُوا۟

kānū

they used to

يَكْفُرُونَ

yakfurūna

disbelieve

قُلْ

qul

Say

أَنَدْعُوا۟

anadʿū

Shall we call

مِن

min

from

دُونِ

dūni

besides

ٱللَّهِ

l-lahi

Allah

مَا

mā

what

لَا

lā

not

يَنفَعُنَا

yanfaʿunā

benefits us

وَلَا

walā

and not

يَضُرُّنَا

yaḍurrunā

harms us

وَنُرَدُّ

wanuraddu

and we turn back

عَلَىٰٓ

ʿalā

on

أَعْقَابِنَا

aʿqābinā

our heels

بَعْدَ

baʿda

after

إِذْ

idh

[when]

هَدَىٰنَا

hadānā

(has) guided us

ٱللَّهُ

l-lahu

Allah

كَٱلَّذِى

ka-alladhī

Like the one

ٱسْتَهْوَتْهُ

is'tahwathu

whom (has been) enticed

ٱلشَّيَـٰطِينُ

l-shayāṭīnu

(by) the Shaitaan

فِى

fī

in

ٱلْأَرْضِ

l-arḍi

the earth

حَيْرَانَ

ḥayrāna

confused

لَهُۥٓ

lahu

he has

أَصْحَـٰبٌۭ

aṣḥābun

companions

يَدْعُونَهُۥٓ

yadʿūnahu

who call him

إِلَى

ilā

towards

ٱلْهُدَى

l-hudā

the guidance

ٱئْتِنَا ۗ

i'tinā

'Come to us.'

قُلْ

qul

Say

إِنَّ

inna

Indeed

هُدَى

hudā

(the) Guidance

ٱللَّهِ

l-lahi

(of) Allah

هُوَ

huwa

it

ٱلْهُدَىٰ ۖ

l-hudā

(is) the Guidance

وَأُمِرْنَا

wa-umir'nā

and we have been commanded

لِنُسْلِمَ

linus'lima

that we submit

لِرَبِّ

lirabbi

to (the) Lord

ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ

l-ʿālamīna

(of) the worlds

وَأَنْ

wa-an

And to

أَقِيمُوا۟

aqīmū

establish

ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ

l-ṣalata

the prayer

وَٱتَّقُوهُ ۚ

wa-ittaqūhu

and fear Him

وَهُوَ

wahuwa

And He

ٱلَّذِىٓ

alladhī

(is) the One

إِلَيْهِ

ilayhi

to Him

تُحْشَرُونَ

tuḥ'sharūna

you will be gathered

وَهُوَ

wahuwa

And (it is) He

ٱلَّذِى

alladhī

Who

خَلَقَ

khalaqa

created

ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ

l-samāwāti

the heavens

وَٱلْأَرْضَ

wal-arḍa

and the earth

بِٱلْحَقِّ ۖ

bil-ḥaqi

in truth

وَيَوْمَ

wayawma

And (the) Day

يَقُولُ

yaqūlu

He says

كُن

kun

Be

فَيَكُونُ ۚ

fayakūnu

and it is

قَوْلُهُ

qawluhu

His word

ٱلْحَقُّ ۚ

l-ḥaqu

(is) the truth

وَلَهُ

walahu

And for Him

ٱلْمُلْكُ

l-mul'ku

(is) the Dominion

يَوْمَ

yawma

(on the) Day

يُنفَخُ

yunfakhu

will be blown

فِى

fī

in

ٱلصُّورِ ۚ

l-ṣūri

the trumpet

عَـٰلِمُ

ʿālimu

(He is) All-Knower

ٱلْغَيْبِ

l-ghaybi

(of) the unseen

وَٱلشَّهَـٰدَةِ ۚ

wal-shahādati

and the seen

وَهُوَ

wahuwa

And He

ٱلْحَكِيمُ

l-ḥakīmu

(is) the All-Wise

ٱلْخَبِيرُ

l-khabīru

the All-Aware

۞ وَإِذْ

wa-idh

And when

قَالَ

qāla

said

إِبْرَٰهِيمُ

ib'rāhīmu

Ibrahim

لِأَبِيهِ

li-abīhi

to his father

ءَازَرَ

āzara

Azar

أَتَتَّخِذُ

atattakhidhu

Do you take

أَصْنَامًا

aṣnāman

idols

ءَالِهَةً ۖ

ālihatan

(as) gods

إِنِّىٓ

innī

Indeed, I

أَرَىٰكَ

arāka

[I] see you

وَقَوْمَكَ

waqawmaka

and your people

فِى

fī

in

ضَلَـٰلٍۢ

ḍalālin

error

مُّبِينٍۢ

mubīnin

manifest

وَكَذَٰلِكَ

wakadhālika

And thus

نُرِىٓ

nurī

We show(ed)

إِبْرَٰهِيمَ

ib'rāhīma

Ibrahim

مَلَكُوتَ

malakūta

the kingdom

ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ

l-samāwāti

(of) the heavens

وَٱلْأَرْضِ

wal-arḍi

and the earth

وَلِيَكُونَ

waliyakūna

so that he would be

مِنَ

mina

among

ٱلْمُوقِنِينَ

l-mūqinīna

the ones who are certain
